Bad roads definitely put a cramp in enjoying the pretty snow. I'm definitely noticing road maintenance is worse in our new town compared to the old one, but nothing like the problems you are having.

And yes, I'm enjoying the house and the job and am very happy with our move. I just wish we had about 3 weeks with no work to get everything in the house properly organized.

Shannon, I'm so glad things are going so well! I had wondered. :goodvibes

Holly...

Considder yourself lucky... (or you should move....) Syracuse NY got 5 feet of snow last week... (this picture was up the road a bit in Oswego NY (off of Lake Ontario...)

Sorry Michelle, that picture is not from last week. I've seen the same picture circulating a few years in a row claiming it's from a variety of different places. I knew I'd seen it before, so I just had to Google it. Here's just one place it showed up in 2004: http://www.thedieselgypsy.com/Labrador Snow.htm. Info dug up on Snopes seems to point to it being the Trans-Labrador Highway in NE Canada sometime before 2004. I'd absolutely love to see that much snow though! :)

Ohhh yeah... that's real...

& I'm only temporarily on. I almost borrowed my brothers old computer, but it didn't work out...

Home from Jersey. VERY glad I am... family is driving me nuts. Had a bit of a melt down... yelled at EVERYONE... :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: Then they were very nice to me after that...

we had a little bday party for my sister. She couldn't make it...lol but the cake was good...

Her husband has surprised her with a trip to NYC and tickets to see Jersey Boys and Donny & Marie... (and yes... I told her I hate her for seeing D&M before I do...lol) I missed her in the city by a day... :headache:

Well, that sounds like an awful time! :sad2: Sorry to hear.

and you Americans think us Canucks all live in igloos??? Snow was melting here a few days ago. We barely have enough snow to make a snow man.

and no I am NOT complaining.

We have nothing but dead grass and I'm definitely complaining about it! December is supposed to be white.

How about a call to the MD sooner than those appointments? I suspect a growth spurt or hormone changes are making a difference in how his body reacts and a medication change may be just the right thing. (Hormones start kicking in way before we see their impact.) Your instincts are so good.

They're always booked solid, so we wait. I keep them both updated though, with voicemails and emails so they're ready with a plan when we get there. That's the best that can be done. Psychologist is Monday (she was planning on this being Tyler's last visit) and psychiatrist is Thursday. I actually predict a completely different med being prescribed because the one they keep trying to reduces can't be given long-term to kids because it can cause diabetes in kids (it's primarily given to elderly people with Alzheimers or dementia). ADHD meds often work well for his disorders but he was unable to tolerate those when tried a couple years ago, so the doc said we might try those again when his central nervous system has had more time to develop. He also said anti-dependants work well on his issues too. I dread experimenting with meds again, it's pretty scary, but we'll do whatever the doc says. :guilty:

Probably going to be time to start getting active in this thread again ... Sunday.

I have to get all caught up and figure out what is going on with all the different cruises...

sheesh I just realized that Holly & Tyler are joining us in bringing the Wonder "home"... Woohoo!! :cool1:

New software, found my old graphics library = new magnets to be created. As of Sunday ask away... I will do what I can when I can ...

Yes we are! :)

Work is super crazy....only good thing is that I'm getting some OT (next week too). Bad thing - barely have time to breathe, & no time to chat w/ Michelle on im.

Little irratated today...but will get over it (I need to - I need my job). I was told today that I will NOT be allowed to take the time off needed to do the b2b Repo/AK...so, am going to cancel the repo & keep the Alaska portion (grr). Figure I'll go into Seattle early - check that out since I've never been, but not sure - now need to go back to the drawing board.

Mostly irratated about not getting the 21st of January off...found out that I could have gotten on the Dream for 3 nights (cast shakedown cruise) if I could have gotten the day off.

Oh well.....again, I'm still employed and still have time off for the MV and the AK cruises.
Aw, I'm sorry you have to change your plans. :headache: I keep expecting to hear something similar because we're so short handed and buried in work. Just keep repeating "job security". It helps. :thumbsup2 it's what I do!

You are such a good Mom!!
Our son had his best results with welbutrin which is an antidepressant, but his issues were not Tyler's nor is his biochemistry.
So glad you have a great team for Tyler.

I can't get on Facebook. Somebody in Morocco tried to access my account, so my password wouldn't work, I tries to change it and now can't access FB at all. I get a message telling me I have to go through the process on a computer to get it straightened out, which means I have to take my laptop somewhere with internet access tomorrow. What a hassle.

Thanks. I just need to not think about it for the rest of the weekend.

 Sorry about the identity theft issues Holly. What a pain.

Why can't people be honest? :sad2:

Be good to see you around again Ken, and I will be asking for a magnet for next September sometime next spring!!

That is the best way to look at things Monica. Have a good cry and moan, and then look at the positives. You are having some great trips next year with some great people, and there is always the Fantasy the year after to get on a shakedown cruise. Plenty of years left you young thing!!!

It is tough Holly, and scary too for you. :hug:I'm glad you have Tyler's dad to talk things through with(even if he can be a pain sometimes) As Jan said, you are a great mom, remember that.

Neither am I... even though we're gonna have crappy weather tomorrow and no real snow in sight... I just want it up in the mountains because Oak Mtn is opening and they need the snow to get the skiing going...

Emma would wear one of "Kate's" fashionable hair accessories...

I'm hoping it's not 105 degrees and I have to wear a dress... I'd much rather wear a tank top and shorts...lol

We're counting on you Albert.... In England or Orlando?
