Hoping to get through this short work week with my sanity intact. My co-worker is on the Wonder, B2B, and everything is falling apart at work, and everybody expects me to fix everything immediately, but I'm still working on last week's stuff. I'm not enjoying my lunch hour because I'm thinking of everything looming over me for when I return shortly and I already broke down twice before lunch because I'm cracking from the stress.

Holly, sorry you are having such a rough week I'm glad you have your holiday weekend to look forward to

When I get home from work on Thursday I will be opening a bottle of wine and toasting to all of my friends gathering at Ian and Sukie's for Thanksgiving

It's been a little milder here today, but has poured rain most of the day, even a short thunderstorm a couple of hours ago. I hate that it's completely dark by 5:00pm now

Deb, you should have good driving conditions, unless you have snow your way. From Michigan to Chicago will be clear, maybe a little light rain, but NO snow is predicted for Chicago, and daytime temps above freezing, at least through 12/1.

OH NO....How horrible to have a day like this. Just remember it's only one day and you're doing the best that you can do and that's it. Take deep breaths....yes them to death and ignore them and work at your own pace and do what you think is right. It will all be there tomorrow. Hugs.

Well, I survived. I was there from 8am to 8:30pm and made a good dent in the piles of work. The biggest problem is that last week I had Tyler, so I worked short hours, on top of my co-worker being gone. But since he's at his dad's this week, I can work more. I will try to get there at 7 tomorrow morning. I made good progress this afternoon, so I feel much better about it now. And Wednesday I plan on going in at 6am, so I will hopefully get caught up.

I understand about the stress. Our new payroll system is terrible. My first two weeks back from vacation were horrible, 15 days straight working and I was near tears every day. As things are starting to get a little better, and I talk about how horrible those two weeks were, several co-workers have commented on how bad they felt for me and how awful I looked on a number of days.BUT...now I get to take off some extra time to make up for my extra hours at work I have a long weekend too, I get to take 3 days off this week and 3 days the next I'm planning on pulling out my Xmas tree and decorating it this weekend!

Oh Kathe, your stress is much worse because it's longer lasting! I'm glad you finally get some time off! How fun to be putting up your Christmas decorations! I have lots of cleaning to do before I can get Christmas stuff out.
