Ian, as I waited to let some turkeys cross the road in front of me on my way home from work, seeing turkeys jogged my memory......I had a dream last night that everybody showing up at your house for Thanksgiving arrived with a suitcase in hand. You were speechless!

another day a little bit more painting got done.

The girls rooms are mostly done.
Kaleigh has a princess colour scheme. Her walls are light pink and light purple, with bright pink door and closet door and curtains. We've got a small chandlier for her room, and she's very excited about it all. Just have to put up the white trim now.
Shaelyn's room is based on the colours in her Tinkerbell bedding. So the walls are mostly light blue, with a fairly dark purple painted on the top part. Her door and closet door are done in light purple. And her trim is bright green (Alien green to be exact) and still needs to get put up.
And my living has beautiful new hardwood flooring in chocolate ash. And one wall is a dark brown (chocolate cocoa) and the others are a light brown (Pecan Sandie). Well, the walls aren't actually done yet, but I've done the brush work around the edges, so I can picture the final look.

I'm really enjoying my new job. Its very busy and the days go by quickly.

The girls are enjoying Girl Guides. Shaelyn is actually a Guide this year and Kaleigh is a Spark. They are both going to a district camping weekend later in the month. Shaelyn still misses the security of really knowing everybody at her old school, but she is adjusting. We will be moved into our own house this month.


MICHELLE - I think the pain clinic sounds like a great idea for you.

Holly - Have fun getting back into cooking!

I like the idea of the pain clinic... only problem is... I have a ton of plans that are in the way...

I know I could take time off for Alaska, because by then I would have been in the clinic for a few months... hoping it works out.

I managed to do 6 miles on the bike last night while watching "Temple Grandin"....interesting movie, didn't realize she was austistic.

I've logged (bike & walking) 11.8 miles this week (thurs-thurs). My schedule has been thrown off a bit with all the visits, but I'll gladly keep visiting

Tomorrow night is a meet at the Turf Club at SSR for dinner. Never been there, hope I like it. I may try the walk that Maz told me about last night (from SSR, through DTD & back to SSR around the lake) after dinner. We'll have to see how I feel afterwards.

So funny last night....I was followed almost all the way home by these lovely Brits (Maz & John are in a villa not too far from me)
