So I opened my Facebook page and saw Tom's face with a post that said, "I'm going to be a Daddy!!!"

I just called Sandi and spoke with her and Joe, apparently it's true. They found out last night. Tom has been living with a girlfriend in Ohio. He left Sandi's mom's house. He's been working in a factory.

I hope this forces him to grow up and be responsible. John had Sandi at 20 yrs. old and Sandi had Tom at 20. Now Tom is becoming a father at 20. I guess it runs in the family.

I just hope it's a girl. I can go to Ohio and visit and leave. Me and John will be great grandparents. Very cool.

I became a grandparent at 34 years old and I skipped the being a mother first part. That was weird for me. Being a great grandparent at 54 will be just fine for me.

Thanks everyone for all the encouragment for John to see the doctor and for all the love you're sending. I'm sure he appreciates it. He'll comment when he reads them all. I think he's just been too under the weather. He should be better after tomorrow when the doctor helps. I'll let you all know what the doctor finds out.

YUP, it's a real shocker that we definitely did not see coming. I opened my FB page and it was the first thing on the top of the page.

I hope it's the exact medicine that Tom needs to get a grip on reality. I have a feeling it's going to be. He seems happy about it.

Ohio is the next state over from us....not far at all. I would love a little girl that we could visit and leave whenever we want. I want to buy pink dresses!!! I'm tired of all these boys.

Just plan for sometime between the last week of July and Labor Day... That's when the races are... Perhaps I'll have my imaginary lake house by then... You and John can come up and lounge in the mountains for the summer... (does he like to fish?)

Marilyn... I will reserve a nice lounge chair and some mountains for John to look at...

& I didn't get my hair cut off... just a good trimming... but I'm reconsiddering... (I will talk myself out of it anyway...) I keep throwing my hair in a ponytail and it's nice and cool... but I might like to cut it short sometime... not sure when...)
