This weekend I'm flying to PEI to spend a few days with my parents at their cottage. Our family used to drive to PEI every summer for a vacation. We used to explore somewhere different out East first, then would end up at my parents' cottage for a weekBrian and I went the summer after we lost his dad and spread some of his dad's ashes into the ocean where they used to spend hours playing. I haven't been back since.That was 8 yrs ago. My mom just turned 76 , my dad's 75....I decided I had to stop putting off going back or I would regret it someday. So...I have booked and can hardly wait

I slept until 11 today and took my time, ambled into work at 1. Nice!Holly, glad you were able to get caught up on some sleep. sometimes we just have to slow down a bit
The office was closed, it's a paid day off, so I didn't have to be there at any particular time, just whenever, to get a jump on the crazy upcoming week. My co-worker/fellow DISer is on vacation, so I could easily work 12 hour days all week. I'll probably work Saturday and Sunday too. IF I can get them to pay me for it because any extra time worked is only given as "banked time". If I can't get around that, I won't bother working extra.

Pashmina shawlPashmina refers to a type of fine cashmere wool and the textiles made from it. The name comes from Pashmineh, made from sajan Persian pashm ("wool"). The wool comes from changthangi or pashmina goat, which is a special breed of goat indigenous to high altitudes of the Himalayas. Pashmina shawls are hand spun, woven and embroidered in Kashmir, and made from fine cashmere fibre.
