Holly, I read you had a noisy party close by. Neighbours really are becoming less considerate these days aren't they? Well people in general really. It is a me, me, me culture at the moment.

Yes Marilyn, it was about 10 feet away from my head. The houses are only separated by my driveway, so I'm bound to hear lots of things, and I'm usually pretty tolerable because after all, life is noisy......BUT......2am on a Tuesday night is way beyond reasonable. The police came pretty quickly though. I talked to another neighbor today and his college aged son thinks it's a college party house now. We'll run them out soon enough, just like the last awful neighbors who lived there with all their mice.

I went to WW this morning after missing two weeks for breavement...

I lost 1 lb I expect that I put on lbs after had the wild party at Ireland...

I still carry on to WW and hope to lose another stone for this cruise... Will I???

Thanks Jackie.....I read the thread and all the links. It helped a lot, but I still hated the ending. I'll tell you why as soon as I know that Shannon has watched. Holly have you watched yet? I want to make sure that I don't spoil it for anyone.

I got text that Olivia was not very well and I picked her up and she was sobbing and sore tummy... then one hour she bounced back happy and fiddle she is only 10half years old. I wonder if her hormone?

I took her to Clark for check size as all her shoes seem too small which some of these shoes are brand new - too small New pair of shoes is size 4!!! I had to buy two pairs of shoes as need one for this sat for my ex sister in law 50th birthday party...also she got a nice clothes too...from Next...

Oh, it most definitely can be hormones. I know a couple girls who started.....um.....how to say this without grossing out Ken and Bubba......that monthly womanly visitor we all love to hate, at age 10.

ME TOO!!! I agree with everything you just said. I wanted more answers too. But even forgiving that.....I can't buy into the idea that they were in a plane crash and they all lived, but after the bomb in the alternate life their plane lands safely in LAX and they're all dead. That doesn't work for me.

Then I cannot get the idea that a baby was born while they were dead. duh. I even get the idea that Jack was the main character and it was his life and death so it was shown from his perspective....but Jack had more of a relationship with Aaron as he grew older while living with him and Kate in real life. He would have bonded less when he was just born. So Jack's death experience should have been different.

And call me romantic, but in my mind Kate belonged with Sawyer and Julliet belonged with Jack. They got that very wrong. I had always held hope that it would end up that way. Ya know, bad girl with bad boy and good girl doctor with good boy doctor. When they were going into the light together, they were with the wrong partners.

I would say the ending was good....but not great. I did expect more.

OK, here's my theory. I think they all died in the original crash and everything else that happened wasn't real, ALL the events we saw were imaginary, what each person thought would happen in their lives, because everybody was stuck in a sort of purgatory until they were all able to help each other come to terms with their deaths. I've read that some people believe that in a mass fatal accident, many of the souls linger behind because the event that caused all their deaths was to tragic to accept, so you sometimes here of spirits hanging around the scene of a big disaster like that, and sometimes somebody can help them cross over. I don't know, but it helps me rationalize it all in my head.

Marilyn, I agree. You should ask your sons if they liked the ending or not. Many people did....Jackie for one. We haven't heard from Holly yet.

What baby was born while they were dead????


Remember that all dead was sometime way in the future (as Hugo and Ben could have lived a VERY long time).

The 'sideways' time line was not reality. What happened on the island and to the Oceanic 6 and returning to the island all happened in reality. Jack dies on the island (saving it), others stay and experience their natural life span or are on the plane and go home and have their natural lives (Clair, for example, we'd assume takes over raising her son).

Think of the 'sideways' time line as a 'construct' the group 'built' in the Astral Plane (if you will) when they were all ready to come together and go to the light together. As you could see each person at some point realized where and why they were there and they remembered what they experienced together and were then ready to cross together. Hence both Sun and Lock being able to jump up from their hospital beds. Nothing in the sideways time line was real, Jack wasn't once married to Juliet nor did he have a son.

Regarding Sayid, it was Shannon that he experienced love with on the island. It was about the island experience that brought this group of souls together. Now I know Penny wasn't on the island...but the fact that she knew about it and lost Desmond to it more than once must have given her a 'pass' for the group crossing ().

Now the question is, are WE going to hang out in the Astral till we all die and then cross together on the big Disney cruise ship in the sky?

Disney World, Disneyland, random Disney cruises, until we're all ready to meet up at the same time and hop on that big ship to our final resting spot at Castaway Cay.

I was going to clean a bit because my co-worker/friend Ingrid is coming over tomorrow after work, bringing "Avatar" for us to watch, she wants to see it on a bigger screen than her TV since she missed it in the theater (me too). Except that the creators said (sometime during year one) that the island is not purgatory or limbo and the castaways are not dead there. They also promised it wouldn't 'all be a dream'. In one of the alternate endings on Jimmy Kimmel they had Kate wake up in bed with Bob Newhart!
