But Marilyn... I really am allergic to cleaning... I get very anxious about it... not that I can't do it... but I can sit there and look at a pile of stuff and not figure out where to put it or what to do with it... What seems very easy to someone else gets me stuck. Not to say that my house is a mess cause it isn't... I just have to figure out what to do with some clutter and stuff I have in boxes... I put stuff in boxes and forget about it... which really means I don't really need 1/2 the stuff and the other half... I find myself searching for things when I need them...

Ohhh and I'm HIGHLY allergic to dust so I also get sinus troubles when I do alot...

Can you not fling all the clutter in mom's room for now and forget it, generally give a quick once over the important places your guest will see and leave it at that. Ban your guest from anywhere else!!! After your guest has left, then you can decide where to move the clutter to!!! Or not!!!

What ever the weather is today we get for 40 days!! So wind and rain for us. However I'm not superstitious so I don't give a monkey's uncle!

Yeah... I have to clean out the closet in her room too...

I'm thinking boxes... then I can go through it the following week... just as long as the closets aren't opened I should be ok...

I need one of those professionals that comes in and organizes you... at least they won't have to bring a dumpster for my house...

Monica, I'm still hoping we can meet up in Oct I'm on the cruise 16-23. I've got a ticket to MNSSHP for the 24th. That only leaves me the 15th, half a day on the 23rd and 24th and a full day on the 25th to play. Any chance?? Anyone else want to play on those days?

Yikes, I don't want today's weather for 40 days, good thing I live in Canada

It was very hot and humid all day, now it is pouring rain and thundering and lightning! We are once again under a severe storm watch and warning. I wanted it to rain for the garden...but a light sprinkling would have been fine!

Holly, did you have this storm pass through today? Hope you and Tyler are safe and staying dry!!!

Michelle...hope this isn't on the way to you I think it's moving north so hopefully it will miss you!

ya - I have had that thought but I do like how close it is and the $$$ so for now I'm just unplugging my emotions and doing it.

We have noticed that too, with parents and other situations. Pieces do not make sense and all of a sudden we realize that without them, the big picture would not be as comfortable.

I am a couple days behind here, but still praying for a good result on Paul's interview!

I was bummed to see it was reruns (just like the 'olden days' when all the shows were in reruns in the summer). I'm also glad he's in a show that is sticking as I really like him too. I just LOVED this seasons Halloween episode and his very familiar 'space cowboy' costume!

We are in Orlando till the 17th, then we go off to Miami for 3 nights!!! I hope we can meet with you - perhaps with Monica too. Looks like it would have to be the 15th??? We would love to see you again.

Thank you, sweetie!!! I have passed it on and he says a big thank you... It was his choice but he felt his face didn't 'fit' anymore at Citi and took the view that he wasn't 'safe'. Plus the new regime proved to be super-crappy... So, when a small investment bank came a-knocking, he decided it was time...

No, Nan - same 'new' job. He's been on garden leave for 3 months so I've had him at home (and have LOVED it!!!) but he starts work for real on Tuesday. He sends his best to Paul...
