This was an amazing cruise.....let me try to just post some highlights....

4/9 - got out of work at 330pm....Will & Mickey dropped me off at the airport, met up w/ J & P, picked up the hertz car & we were on our way! J checked in with the DIS group and got our lanyards as I checked us in. Then it was off to dinner at a BBQ place (Slow and Low???).

4/10 - dropped the ladies & the luggage off at the terminal then went to return the rental car.....met back up w/ the ladies in line to see if we could upgrade. WE DID!!! From a cat 11 to a cat 9 for $310.00 (that's the TOTAL for all 3 of us, for all 14 nights!) CRAZY!! We were assigned 2044.

On board we go....see Handsome Daniel right off the bat Dealt w/ Palo ressies then to Parrot Cay for lunch.

Got to the room....muster drill in Walt Disney Theatre...sail away party then back to the room.....to find terrible smell & wet carpeting btwn shower wall & bed......reassigned room 2024.

New hangout - Diversions....new server friends Doug & Dinesh (Victor is on the Wonder) - Guinness on tap

Days at sea.....some chilly days....time spent wrapped up in a blanket on couches, napping, in front of Cove Cafe.

CC - beautiful as always

Loved meeting up w/ old friends & making new ones.

Only 3 days spent on heated tile loungers.

Great tours on Madeira & Gibraltar (I have contact info)....

Hop on-hop on buses on Cadiz & Barcelona.

Barcelona was packed!! Festival of St George happening.
Madeira - flower festival

London - marathon.....we were planning on doing the hop on/off bus there too but b/c of the race too many roads closed so had to bag that. Spent time in Harrods, walking about, napping. Love Never Dies - great show....the guy who plays the Phantom is amazing!

All in all - great vacation!

I seem to remember the Disboards stopped allowing that company's tickers because there was concern they had a virus.

Jackie, Monica and Pam have all made it to their respective homes, safe and sound (well, not too sound for Pam, she has a cold).

LOOOOONNNNNG travel day (I've been up nearly 24 hours, with just some airplane naps) and I must toddle off to bed, but wanted to check in and let you know we are home.

OMG! I'm exhausted!! My flight was delayed out of Dallas last night for 1 hr...finally got home at 1130pm last night. Went straight to bed.

I ache all over.....16 nights not in my bed, then the wonderful seats on the airplanes and all the walking.....but I made it to work today. Really counting down the time until 6pm so I can go home. (It's 1155am right now).

Olivers was just voted best burger in the Capitol region...

Jacks can't be beat for burgers, etc.

& we just found a nice pub like restaurant called Ravenswood - good fried Mushrooms.

Boston is about 4 and Niagara falls is about the same... (the Canadian side is much more scenic...)

Completed first day back to work today...4 more to go until I get another day off I woke at 4:30 AM but I needed to get up at 5:30 anyway so it wasn't too bad. I am already worn out though! Sara cancelled on our date to go to the gym after work. I should have gone on my own but I wimped out too
