Well, car has been towed and is getting fixed. Ouch, the cost is going to hurt but at least it wasn't the transmission so I am thankful for that.

My brother got very good news today! He had surgery for prostate cancer a few weeks ago and got the all clear today He just needs to have bloodwork checked every few months.

It's been a very good day

Hello. Arrived here at SSR safe and well at about 6pm. We had been up from about 4.45am our time(11.45pm yesterday Eastern). Now about to shower and get to bed. We will have been awake for going on 23 hours by the time we turn the lights off! No point going to bed earlier because of the time change we will wake up at silly o'clock as it is.

Will post tomorrow when hopefully I will be sensible!!!

Mom's in a crazy cleaning mode... not sure why... but she "Claire" cleaned the living room today...

Claire is my sister and is a neat freak... when she comes to our house she won't stay here because it's not clean enough for her... (she has a cleaning lady...)

& Claire isn't coming to visit...

I'm not sure why... it has to signal something... usually she starts her cleaning in the walk in closet right before company is coming... not like anyone else will see it...

If she starts the closet tomorrow I have to worry...

AND... she just bit my head off when I joked about taking the garbage out...

The next couple of days should be interesting I think...

Did any of you do the dolphin swim in Cabo?

I love dolphins so we're considering doing it on our cruise.
Since we will be kid-free it might be the time to try it, I'm just nervous that it won't be spectacular.

The storm is underway. We're supposed to get 12 inches / 28 cm with more near the Lake, which means us. It's not supposed to stop until about 4 a.m. on Thursday.

....and so it begins....well, for us. For those in the DC area....it continues.

We are supposed to get hit with a foot or so too. It's supposed to start this afternoon, which means that John is going to have a very long commute home tonight. Then he probably won't be able to go to work tomorrow. YEAH! Snow day! I had a wound doctor appointment tomorrow...I rescheduled for Monday.

Kris is coming this Friday. He has already asked if he can go snowboarding with his friends on Saturday. Of course he can, that's why he's coming for a visit. He's psyched to be here in the snow and we will have lots of it for him to play in.

Marilyn, so happy that you and John arrived safely. Now just have fun!

Holly, lots of pixie dust to you too for Tyler. Remember he is way improved, but he'll never be perfect. None of us are. He will always have set backs along the way of his progress. And he HAS progressed so far. It's okay. He'll move forward again soon. It's just a little glitch in the road along the way.

Have fun playing in the snow together. You should have a blast.

not at Cabo, we did at Discovery Cove at Florida, oh I love it as just Ian, Olivia and myself went there and my son Keith change his mind but too late it was full booking... We did swim with Dolpins oh it make you feeling good...

Raining now here, but we got to DHS for rope drop and did our 4 normal rides, had a cappuccino at the Writer's shop,walked over to Epcot and caught the bust back to SSR. Tired now, so perhaps a nap, then perhaps a walk to DTD, perhaps not!!! Depends how tired we are. These first few days can be topsy turvy! Colder tomorrow and hopefully of to Epcot. Very cold night Tuesday, but, we are here!!!
