...I don't think Kaz is onboard anymore however. She might be spending much of next year cruising, but not on that one!!

I very much wanted to be on the PC cruise BUT my lovely husband can't take January vacations anymore and I just can't face such an extensive trip without him so had to forfeit - another time maybe... Plus I'll be back at Uni by then and will have to show more than a little commitment...

Right now we are looking at the Holiday Inn on the Bay in SD. We will probably book a little later in the week as we are waiting for a decision from some friends of ours who want to come with us...

And just a reminder, our kids are NOT coming with us this trip. They get to stay home with the grandparents. So even when you do tell Brooke and Ethan, let them know Shaelyn and Kaleigh won't be there.

No I wouldn't do that to you. If we can't find a sitter we won't come. This is adult time. It should be fine just as long as Jon's parents are home from their vacation. And I won't be telling the kids.

I am in the Capital District... right outside of Albany... Scotia...

More importantly... I'm 17 miles south of the REAL Saratoga Springs!!!

Just google Saratoga springs and look south... on the map... follow Rt. 50... I'm at the end...

We are rather big... but when you listen to the news in NYC... they say Upstate and they are looking at the counties not far from the city... I always look at the TV and yell... SPRING VALLEY IS NOT UPSTATE!!!

I grew up on Long Island and had to explain to everyone who asked where I lived....New York, but not the city....on Long Island out east where it's rural. No one believed me from out of state. They all thought I was a city girl....which I became later in my 20s but that's another life.

& how do you know Spring Valley so well??? And why didn't you call when you visited up there... I was only 2 towns away and would have tried to visit...

I got the same in Jersey... it was sort of just an annex of the city anyway...

Well.. first of all...WE DON'T TALK THAT WAY!!!!

All of NJ is NOT Essex or Hudson County...

& I have a Jersey accent... Northern Jersey... and there is definately a difference than those who live closer to Philly who have THAT accent...
