The Importance of Kidding Ernest!!! Or Ian!!! ;)

OMG Marilyn!!! Does John know about this new career direction...? :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

I've checked the DVC points and we'll be staying in a studio for the 1st night and a 1 bed for the remaining 4 nights - cannot wait to book... :yay:

Well Ian is usually the master, so to catch him out is a sweet feeling for once!!!

Haha about the new career direction - perhaps pole dancing would be very toning!!!

We won't have enough DVC points for the VGC by January when we need to book a few nights at DL. Have to book some in October after the TA crossing, then there are the nights prior to our PC cruise in January, so no way will there be any left for after the PC cruise. Strip it is for us!!! I think we are too old to add on to DVC now. After what you said I went to look on Disney UK at the free dining promo for October, but of course it isn't just as good a deal for the 2 of us as for a family, and we would have to buy tickets which we wouldn't need as we will have AP's. I do like to stay onsite for some of the time, but I am also loving the offsite villas, though don't want to book one for the whole time we are there in October.

Oh the stress!!!

We should be in San Diego or somewhere around there!!! I did consider flying back to join you but John couldn't see the point of an inaugural cruise:confused3!!! Anyway, we have things to do and people to see over in the West. Not that we wouldn't have seen them for 15 nights on the cruise but there you go!! Of course some might go straight off on vacation again and avoid us!!!!!!!

Perhaps, maybe, we will get to see some of the LA folk, who knows.

True... ;)

I say stick to the straightforward strip. Pole dancing is HARSH, believe me!!! You're small like me and it's very tough trying to reach high enough up the pole to do the moves.. And the BRUISING!!! Thighs, arms and across the back!!! OMG - not funny... :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

We're adding on a small number of points at VGC as they have a good deal at the moment. Just wanted enough to be able to go there once every 3 years as I love DL - Richard has his VWL and AKV so these are for me.. ;) :cloud9: :wizard:

I think you're right, the free dining thing is only of major value if you're there for a while and/or a family. I added Sophie, Dr Joe and Matty just for the price of their passes!!! I'm the only one who has an annual pass (the others have unexpired passes) BUT I think you can upgrade the 7 day passes that you have to buy with the UK offer to non-expiry ones which will make sense for me... :goodvibes

What about renting some points from another DVCer???

I'm doing it with Sophie, as Richard cannot get away in January anymore - and she can only spare a short amount of time so the Inaugural suited us... I'm actually booked to do a B2B but it looks like I'll be doing that solo which will be an adventure!!! ;)

I would've loved to do the PC Repo but I just couldn't face the thought of such a long time without Richard... :sad1:

Sounds fab and it's always lovely to meet up with old friends... :cloud9:

Ok... the east coaster are getting ready for bed... the west coasters are just finishing dinner...

Anyone out there?? Hello!!!!!

You know, there is about 3000 miles of land in-between.

Besides, we're third coasters.

True... ;)

Mmm, so pole dancing might not be the right thing for me then!!! Not sure I would earn much money anyway!!!!!:lmao::lmao:

We did consider buying some VGC when we were on the last cruise as it was part of a good deal. They were suggesting getting them just to use for cruising. Considering how small the VGC complex is they really must not be selling very well.

Yes, have considered renting as it would still be cheaper in the long run. Will have to think more seriously.

I've always thought 'lap dancing' sounds considerably easier - I've got a lap and I can jiggle it around!!! Job done!!!

::yes:: I agree. Well, the deal that they have at the moment makes them almost as cheap as the first points we bought!!! OK, so we're not getting $2/£ (how sweet was that??) but it still works for us right now... :goodvibes We also wanted a few extra points as we plan to try the Hawaii DVC resort in 2013...

Happy to try and help should you decide to.... :thumbsup2

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: Shame it isn't YOUR lap you have to jiggle around!!!!!

Mmmmm, very interested in points. Will go have a work out at what we have available, but we are going in to next year's points(August user year) for this coming trip, so not too hopeful what we have left will stretch too far!!! We just want too many holidays.:rotfl::lmao:

Hi

I just home from work as I forgot to take mobile with me to work...as I got lots of message and one of sad news that my dear friend Alison's mum passed away this morning as she rest so peaceful, no more pain....

She was ill with ovaries cancer as same as my mum...:sad1:

Sorry to hear about Alison's mum. to you as it brings back memories.

Well if you could find your way down to San Diego on Sunday Mar 14 we'll be there from about 11am to the following day.

And we will have a few hours (6 or so) on Saturday when we get back from the cruise on the 20th before we fly out.

You know, you could always join us on the cruise too.... :thumbsup2

We could definitely do San Diego if we can find a sitter. Where are you staying? I would love to go on a cruise with you but the kids aren't off until the next week and we don't have a sitter that will take them to school. Everyone lives at least an hour away.

If you ever decide to go to Vegas let me know. I know a cheap place that is a condo style. It has a kitchen and a living room. It is close to where you wanted to stay so you could walk there. We stayed there and it is great and it saves to have a few bottles stored in the fridge :rolleyes1 I'm kind of glad it didn't work out this year because we are going in May for my niece's 21st birthday. Vegas twice in one year in just crazy.....

About pole dancing I am too wee for it :rotfl::rotfl: like Karen had mentioned it that you and her too little ....

Marilyn I am confused about your talking about strip? for hotel or not I know strip is in Las Vegas but I think I am confused

Oh PC Cruise as I would love to do it again but time is wrong again... and I gave my husband Photo book of PC Cruise as he thought it was brilliant and I look at it yesterday oh we had a fab times....

Hi G!!!

Glad to see you back!!!

although what you're doing on line at 4:50 am is BEYOND me!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

I don't think it was quite 4:50 am but, if it makes you think I'm cool, I'm all for it :upsidedow People still say cool, right?

Ken your spring break vaca plans are awesome sounding :thumbsup2

I'm jealous you have a kid plan in place. Ours happens when they turn 18, that means when he turns 18 --- no one to babysit for us for a travel get away :sad2:

It makes me realize that I'll be a nice grandparent and offer to babysit for my kid's kids. Ya parent the opposite of your parents on some points right

I can't blame my parents, they were too old for our kids when we had them, but I'm a bit miffed at Paul's parents that they aren't able to offer us that option  Oh well more family time for us.

Deb - love the list of travel. Wishing I could be with you for some of it (who knows... with me having a job now...maybe I will ;)

Hi Kaz :flower3:

We have the same problem and I always say I'll be a great grandmother but Jon just says "No one helped us so why should we help them" :sad2: Hopefully they wait to have kids so we can travel without them a little before the grand kids are born :thumbsup2

right?!?!

I love that you all are still checking in. This is what makes disney so special. I am excited to report that there are 5 cabins of friends travelling on the wonder mexico. I am working on the la to vancouver one, but it's not looking good. My daughter wants to go back to florida to really see the world..she's only been 1 day.

So question for all of you WDW experts:
What are the 3 best times to travel to WDW and the 3 WORST?

Thanks for the help!

I would never leave you guys. I'm not working much so maybe I'll be around more. This month I'm pretty much working two days a week.

Hi everybody!

Its been a highly stressful week researching the options for a vacation! :lmao:
As Ken's already told you we've got a vacation without kids in March. The kids are happy about it, we're happy about it, now I just have to convince Ken that he wants to dance, since there's none of the fabulous Disfolk coming along to hang out in the club with on the boat:sad2:

Now I'm motivated to save money to pay for the trip and keep going on the journey to a healthier more fit me :)

Kathe - hope your back feels better soon!

I saw him dance.....once.
