I'm having a good day and am happy the weather warmed up a bit as the girls are wearing new Christmas dresses with sparkly black tights today (and the tights are pretty but definitely not warm!). I used a half vacation day today broken into segments, so it was into work for an hour. Then off to see Kaleigh at her Christmas concert/party at the daycare. She did a great job singing the songs, and was excited to see Santa. She saw the jolly guy last Sunday too. Both times she's told Santa she wants a Barbie castle, and I've told Santa that he can't bring that. I know she'll like whatever she gets, but I'm curious what her reaction will be on Christmas morning.
Anyhow, then it was back to work for an hour, and off to see Shaelyn's Christmas concert at the school. She was doing some singing with her class, and with the primary choir. It was very nice. Then its back to work for 2 hours to finish the day.
I was a little silly last night and stayed up until midnight getting stuff done.

But I managed to get mini-brownies baked & iced with a cherry on each one

for the girls to take to share. And I got 2 of the parcels ready to mail, and most of the Christmas cards done. After Kaleigh's concert I was able to get to the post office and get everything mailed. We've still got one parcel to get ready, but Ken's bringing home the last item for it today, so he'll be the one to go to the post office again tomorrow.
Michelle - glad your first PT session went well and that you enjoyed Wicked
Nan - that's great for the wallet that your contract gig is busy!
cruise money in the long run.
Ian - can you get that 1/2 day vacation back, since you didn't actually get to take any of it

And what the heck is vegetarian Toad in the Hole?
Deb - hope you aren't in too much pain after your appointment today

Now I must get busy again and get some work done, before its off to get the girls, eat a quick supper and head to the school for Shaelyn's evening concert where all the rude people show up who don't listen and talk through everything

Hopefully this year will be better since there's a lot less kids in the school, so hopefully less rude people in the audience!
