I got a bit upset today and visited old lady as she got home from hospital she is very old... and she told me that all her family gone, only neice and nephew left... I spend chat with her for 10 mins and went away I started sob sob...

then I came home I received a xmas card from my late mum best friend to tell me that her husband had the bowel cancer (same as my late dad)... I get more upset and I texted my brother today....

I think I get more emotional now as this sat will be 30 years since my mum died...

Should Xmas happy period month? I should be happy for Xmas but find hard this week... I will be fine next week....

There has been a lull in the emails for the group I'm booking (750 done out of 1800) so I'm able to check in here with you

So I see that Jackie has let the cat out of the bag....yep we're going on a cruise - 7 nt western end of January. This takes place of the one I had booked for the 30th of October. Of course now I want to book another one for after the new show comes out on the Magic

I have jam to put away (and more fruit to jam) wheat to flour or feed my sheeps and the bunnies they need their carrots. I've collected the clover so the cows are set, but heavens those chickens will have to wait their feed isn't yet ready.

At 5:00 am we had 6 inches, but it has since turned to rain and is making a slippery mess outside. I would prefer that it had stayed snow. All that water is going to turn to ice soon. YUCK!

John wanted me to post pictures of his diamonds....I mean, The Beast. I said I already posted pics and he said, yea but now it's moved and you can see it better. He really loves his truck. So here are more pics of the BEAST.

Migraine today

no suprise, with work comes bad eating habits (read not eating) and comes the migraines just had breakfast for dinner, miss molly cooked it was fab. love that girl. she makes a good momma for this family when I'm MIA.

the interview was ok, not sure that I'm keen on the company. I don't have enough info to decide if it's worthwhile or not. I have another interview next week for a small bookkeeping contract. I guess I'm leaning more towards just rampping back up my own self-employment as it seems like stuff is coming forward that way for me.

Migraine today

& Brian really wants to go to the University of Dallas... So...we're praying we hear from there soon, but he's had two good schools so far!!

thanks shell, there is. I keep being pulled to look at a FT job just to have the medical benefits, but in reality it's too hard to have a job job and be there for the kids when they need me. I know in my heart of hearts I should just do what I've been doing all the years I've been a mom, but it stressful work and I have no one to off load any stress too (like co-workers in a job) big picture the mom job is the one that is most important to me, so that really is what I have to keep telling myself.

how is the pain today? why can't you get into (whatever it is, PT?) until after Xmas? Not many places around to choice for services??? is this a temporary solution to the pain issue? or will it fix it for good?

I have to wait until after Xmas for PT - Physical Therapy, because this is a specialized kind because it involves where the nerves pass through the pelvic bone and the PT is on vacation when I get back from TX... and well.. I'm going to TX for Xmas...

I have pain meds... muscle relaxants and I'm putting alot of my own knowledge from my neck impingement to work (relaxation techniques, some gentle stretching...pillow for my butt)

It's a little quieter and like mom said... I guess it's better having a diagnosis... alot of my tension came from not knowing...
