Ok Champagne Girls... (and their wonderful partners in life... )

I care about all of you and I want you to make sure you take care of yourself!!!

Remember that this is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and let this (and me...) be your pain in the cute little pink butt and remind you all to get your mammograms!!!

Stay Healthy so we can all stay together and sip bubbly!!!

Did it last month, so I'm set for a year. :thumbsup2

Hi kids!

,

hi jackie!

HI VENETIA and anybody else I didn't mention. :goodvibes

Well, I didn't oversleep for an hour like yesterday morning! :thumbsup2 It's always a pleasant surprise to all when I make it to work on time. ;)

I haven't seen my mouse or any evidence left behind, so I'm hoping he moved out, but will keep traps out just in case.

Hi Deb...

How's the toe today?

I have to go and get some fresh air before the sun goes down and we get another freeze.. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....

It's way better...I'm off pain killers and dealing with tolerable pain. It gets better every day.

Enjoy the fresh air while you can.

I get mine done every year for my birthday since I turned 40. I'm scheduling the next one soon. Thanks for the reminder. It's important. My mom had breast cancer twice and my grandmother had it once. I'm in a HIGH risk category. But so far, so good! Early detection is key.

Hi everyone. Sounding a bit like the Waltons back there for a while!!

Good news about the toe Deb, And lovely photos.

My mammogram appt came through befoe we came away and I had to postpone it till I get back!! We have them every 3 years from our 50th birthdays. Good reminder though,

Hope the storms arean't too bad out West. Amazing that that storm started down Mexico or S America way, went all accross the Pacific to torment Japan, then worked its way back and landing up in California! In the process it was what caused our heatwave down in Florida by causing a chain of weather situations. So the weatherman said.

This mouse is driving me CRAZY! I'm literally chasing it around the house! I still haven't seen any evidence left behind, but today I started seeing it dart across the floor. I'm running around trying to drop a bucket upside down on it to catch it that way because it's completely avoiding all traps. I keep putting more traps where I see it (it likes Tyler's bedroom!!!!!!) but can't catch it. :headache: I just saw it run from the bathroom into Tyler's room. :scared::faint::(

Get a big deep bucket.

Put some cheese or some sort food in it.

put a ramp going up to the lip of the bucket so the mouse can easily get to the top. Make sure it is deep enough that he won't jump out but not too deep that he won't jump in.

In the morning you will probably find the mouse in the bucket which you can then take outside and let him loose in the neighbour's yard.

& you people have a maple leaf on your flag... :rolleyes1

Currently 33 chilly degrees... :cold::cold::cold::cold::cold:

Tropical, huh Ken???

Is it raining Nan?

yup, sorry for my late reply. Power was out this morning, then got caught up getting the house ready for an over night visit from Paul's cousin and wife from Minnesota. Just checking in and saying nite nite from the couch tonight. Not many peeps I'd give up my bed for but it's family whatchagonnado?

big storm, we're all okay and it smells really nice now with the clean air :thumbsup2

Oh, I really like this idea, then I won't feel bad about seeing the dead mouse in the trap, thanks! :goodvibes

Glad all ok. I love the smell just after a rainfall. At home it is so fresh, here in Orlando it is a lovely tropical smell.

I don't want to go home.

I'm back. Just finished speedreading through 10 pages.

We had a good Tday (not up to Ian's gourmet standards though ;) ). I decided to try using dill on the steamed carrots. Ken didn't think it sounded good, but everybody liked it :thumbsup2 The chocolate pumpkin cake was good. Just one chocolate cake mix with one can of pumpkin, and then it seemed too thick so I added a cup of milk and then a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg. Turned out nice and light, and everybody liked it except Ken (he doesn't like pumpkin at all!). And lots of leftovers (which is why Ken likes it when its at our house).

Ian - your life sounds busy in a good way, except for the wacky mom at WW. I like Deborah's answer the best!

Holly - hope the mouse is gone for good. Ken's bucket trap works great for Hamsters:thumbsup2

Now I've got to get back to work.:sad2: Hi to everybody! :goodvibes
