Well, we didn't end up going to a park when I picked Tyler up, he wanted to come home and continue our NHL Monopoly game. It was a 4-day game, about an hour each day, and I was sick of it! Fortunately, he wiped me out tonight and it's done.

I told Tyler tomorrow he needs to help me do yardwork and he's happy about that! Crazy kid!

After that we're going to look at a NEW CAR! :goodvibes One of our Kia dealerships is having a great deal. Their 2009 Kia Rios are on sale for $8,800 and the minimum they'll give on a trade in is $2,000. I think $6,800 is pretty darned cheap for a brand new car! :dance3: BUT.....I could probably get $4,000 for my car if I sell it on my own, so I'll get the car without the trade-in, then when I sell my current one, pay that money down on the car and it would basically be like getting a new car for $4,800 (if I get $4,000 for my current car). :yay:

Missed you!!! Welcome back to dry land...

Hi Shell....I missed you too!!! It's sad to be back on dry land....I so love the ocean and Mickey's ship. But there's good things happening here too. I'm still on vacation.:cool1::yay:

Deb...

You're looking GREAT!!!!!

Thanks...ya know, lots of people are telling me that but I don't see what they do. I feel so much better and can walk a lot better, but i'm still just at the beginning....wait until you see me next cruise....I'll look like Gydell!!!

& we'll have to talk and see where everyone is going... some are doing the repo and some are thinking later in the summer...

The deposits are throwing everyone off...

John prefers to do the PC because he'll turn 60 on that trip. We both talked and said that no matter where the ship goes, we just want to be on it with our friends and favorite people....so who knows at this point. I'll just cover all my bases and book everything. I'll sort it out later.

I AGREE!!!

Hey Deb, how were your legs during the cruise?

Thank you to you too!!!

My legs are great, but ugly! I'm taking temporary steroids so the inflamation is gone....no leaking, no infection, no cellulitus, no open wounds....just bumpy scars. When I get back home the steroids will be finished and the edema....will return....or fluid and swelling in the leg. Then we'll go back to using the pump and laying flat again. As I continue to lose weight it will get better.

Today was the 2nd Saturday in a row that I got to see Tyler's sister awake! Before last Saturday, she'd always been sleeping when I was there. She's still so tiny but chubby.....looks like a Butterball turkey! :goodvibes Very, very cute! And the best part......when I was saying goodbye to her, talking to her a bit, she kept giving me big smiles! I'd walk away and she'd stop smiling, then start smiling again if I talked to her. ;) Then Tyler showed me how he can get her to giggle! Cute, cute, cute! She started daycare last Monday....I can't believe she's 2 months old already!

Oh.......I got 48 bottles of free pop today! Coke Zero! :yay:

Can't sleep because I'm really feeling down about the whole weight issues. I have now gained back everything I'd lost when doing WW and was so bummed about it, I ate tons and tons of M&Ms tonight. Now I know WW does work, but I'm wondering if I'd be better off doing the meetings because maybe then I'd feel more accountable than doing it on my own online. But then I worry that I just wouldn't go. I have a co-worker who's a lifetime member, so maybe I can ask her to sort of push me to get to meetings and stick with it because it went so well doing it online. I know this is a dumb question, but do people really have better success with attending meetings?

Hang in there! You can always start again, but YOU have to decide when the time is right for you and then you will be ready no matter what happens. That's when the results will happen. If I can lose 145 pounds then you can lose whatever you want!!!

Hi Thieves! Had a great vacation but was glad to sleep in my own bed last night. Those split queens on the ship are TINY! You can't roll over...you have to 'flip'!

Booked two dummy dates while on board...just contacted my TA to move them to the 2011 Panama Canal (which will then cancel and supercede my WBTA that I had booked on my own for next year). My WBTA cruise-mate agreed that this would work better for both of us and there are three ports I've not been to and no long plane rides! (AND three more months to save up $$)

Moved the second one to the 8/30 Alaska (which may be overriden by a different cruise line based on price), to be done with sister Dianne, who was very happy to discover that she enjoyed cruising. :thumbsup2 If we do Alaska on another line, I may move this reservation to something on the new ship later on.

Well, only have one load of laundry done, so better get back to that. I take over for Peg's house sitter today and look forward to getting lots of puppy love!

:dance3:SHANNON, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!:dance3:

Will try and get some pictures downloaded next, I have to post some on the Restaurant forum cake thread. Marilyn and I ordered a special cake from the Grand Floridian bakery for pre-cruise night. I'll post pickture of it here for you all to see too.

.

even though you were not physically w/ us you were all definately there in spirit.

It was a wonderful week, but way too short. We talked about the PC cruise often & wished that you were all there with us.

I am home now - sick w/ a cold. No desire to unpack or do any laundry. Can't believe I have to go back to work tomorrow. :(

pirate:pirate:pirate:WELCOME HOME THIEVESpirate:pirate:pirate:

Hi Bubba....we missed you too!!! I just said hi to Lisa and Darrell from you and V. They want to do the repo Alaskan cruise. I told them that many of the Thieves will be on that trip. I hope to be also. I'm booking tomorrow using my dummy dates.....for me and Ian. WOO HOO!!!

Hello all! We're back from vacation! We had a great time!

More to come in the coming days.

Today was busy just getting a few errands done and am now trying to move around photos and video. It will be a while before I post any photos or video because it will take time to get it organized.

I did rebook us for 2 cruises while I was on board, hopefully the repositioning from LA to Vancouver and from Vancouver up to Alaska.

Happy Birthday Shannon!

PS - We had a fabu time with Jackie and Cheri!

I heard you NOT talking about me...hahah just kidding haven't read a thing, and this was at the top of the page I opened. Good entrance huh?

Did Sukie get my voicemail? lalalala

As we did with you! :grouphug: Thanks so much for being our 'fast pass runner' too!

Trying to find my camera instruction book, which I took with me in case I needed to have anyone download photos if I took too many. Think I'll go to the Canon website and see if I can find a translation for all these icons on my 'menu'.

Cheri, if you're checking in and can post a Bon Voyage cake picture (or two) on facebook, I'd appreciate it.

.

Here's the Bon Voyage cake from Citrico's:

The gold you see in the background are champagne glasses.

The back-side:

The aftermath!

We had the cake presented at the begining of the meal, so we could enjoy it as a centerpiece for the table. Needless to say, some of those chocolate shavings around the cake didn't make it all the way to dessert!
