HEY, who said anything about CRAZY?! :rotfl2:

Columbia Icefields?

Yes! We went on the 4 hr guided tour. It was great! By the time we all got geared up it was actually just a 3 hr hike on the glacier. Our guide was wonderful.

I loved Lake Louise, glad it wasn't frozen over though! Morraine Lake was also stunning.

Actually, the whole trip was stunning!!!

I certainly am on FB way less than the rest of you. I don't like FB. I just have too many friends there so I go to keep in touch, but not everyday. I like it here. This is home and all my friends live here.
I definitely don't like FB much because it's hard to keep up with. BUT......I'm there all the time because I'm addicted to FarmVille! Speaking of....my Superberries should be ready to harvest soon! :goodvibes

It's cold enough tonight that I need to put some slippers on my feet. But I don't want to close the windows because I'm loving the cricket sounds. :goodvibes

John and I got together in April of 1990 then married in Sept 1990. It was a very good year. Of course, we were much older when we started. But it has been 19 years. It feels like it went by so fast....in a blink, here we are. :cloud9:

5 months??? Wow... that's AGES compared to Angie and Dennis...

Ian.. you know who they are right???

OK this is way too interesting to let go by.....what was the bet? Spill the beans....we all want to know.

Whatever... Ken got the best part... :thumbsup2

Excellent Michelle....that's so good for you that you did it!!! Keep it up. You'll feel better and get into great shape.:goodvibes

in 2 weeks? :lmao:

I would, but this is a family site. Seeing as how Shannon brought it up, she can answer the question... But let me put it this way: She turned out to be my trophy wife!

Like I said... you won the prize...

It's taken me forever, but's here's a pic of me at Lake Louise

Ok Ken... where's the squirrel for the picture...

(by the way... Kathe... it's GORGEOUS!!!

Kathe - Glad you had a great time!

Deb - Keep up the good work on the weight loss! I reached my goal in July but because I have changed my eating habits I have dropped another 13 pounds in the last 7 weeks. If I can do it anybody can!

Holly - Hope the Dr goes well tomorrow.

:worship::worship::thumbsup2

So Holly... I saw those... do they glow??? Are they nuclear???

me too, but I live on the front of the house and I get to hear the people running the red lights...

It just doesn't feel like Friday without Ian paving the way for us. :thumbsup2

Yeah...he's slipping... :sad2:

Thanks. I made a committment. I'm sticking with it.

I will, however, NOT be tracking anything while on vacation. Sorry. I'll enjoy gaining a few and then I'll just take them off again. I found a great formula utilizing points that works for me. It's all a numbers game. Calculate then feed, not the other way around. It's really easy to follow once you get into the habit of doing it. I have gotten to the point where I sit down online and put in all the numbers and descriptions of all the foods that I'm going to eat until I get to the number that I want for that particular day of the week. Then I just follow the list and only eat what's on it. It works easily because I'm home every day. I'm sure it would be much harder to do if I still worked.

btw, today is weigh in and I went down another digit in the tens column. I love when the second number goes down. I'm working towards getting the third number to go down. That will take some more time, but I know I'll get there. It feels good to be moving in a downward direction.;)
Congrats on your weigh in again! :woohoo::yay::banana:

Deb, I really like your way of doing it. That sounds like it might work better for me because I think if I have all the foods listed for the day, I think I'd be more likely to stick with it and not stray. That way I wouldn't have to think of what to eat and make a bad choice, it would already be laid out for me. So I'm glad you shared!

Hi Sweetie Pie...

What brings you over here? Did you get tossed off of FB like Me? (well, not yet, but close...)

What the heck is going on here?

Oh never mind I remember.....

Strippers

kissing interpreters

clothes too big

skin problems :sad2:

raining men :confused3

The Bears........

I'm sure there was more but these things were pretty exciting to hear about in the morning.

It's much warmer here than the weather we had in the Rockies over the past week. If it had been much warmer though, it would have made the long trails we walked seem so much longer , so I actually think we had perfect weather for our vacation. It only rained the first day, other than a few drops here and there.I've really enjoyed the warm sunny day here today though, as it's my last day of vacation. I have to work tomorrow afternoon. I sat out on the deck and finished my latest book (The Kite Runner) while I was doing laundry as well. I even cut the grass, and it certainly needed it :scared1:

I was really glad I hadn't listened to the news or weather yesterday, or I would have been very nervous flying home. My flight was a little late leaving Calgary. I didn't think much of it, and was very surprised to find out this morning that we had very bad storms and tornadoes close to home yesterday. Several homes were destroyed and one young boy in Durham was killed :sad1:

Way to go!!! I remember you said you were stuck and had trouble making the last couple pounds disappear. You did it! :yay::woohoo::banana:
