OK, you are indeed a mom, but you're also a human being and are entitled to your feeling, both being taken care of an not being hurt. I admit that I don't know anything about parenting, but you have feelings too, that need to be acknowledged and indulged.

The wonderful about you Nan is how much you care. The equally wonderful thing about you is that you're not made of stone.

I think not, but I have to find a better place with this, because it hurts ME too much to hurt them just to make a point, but damn it, that's what I HAVE to do because I'm their mom and it's better to be hurt and have them learn it than not teach them

Hello... my name is Michelle and once in a while I DO admit that Bubba's Right... (but not TOO often... )

You need to call some NAN time. Do some of the things that YOU like to do.

Leave them hot dogs that they can nuke and they won't starve... rearrange schedules for some NAN time... When they run out of clean undies... they'll find the washer...

& don't worry about Wil... he's got to learn that disappointment comes with life... and that things affect what you do... you've protected them in the bubble long enough.. let them out just a bit to get their feet under them...

yes I agree with this, and Paul figured it out just a minute ago and came and told me, now he can teach it to his son of course his lesson involves F1 race teams, Jacques Villeneuve. Bubba I'm sure you know his story already

& Mol's birthday... let Paul figure something out... she's got 1/2 his chromosomes...

yes I've told Paul that too, within Molly's ear shot, so they both know it I'm still going to do what I wanted to do for her, but I won't give it to her until bedtime on her bday, when the party part of her day is over.

& tell them that they'll be alot happier if they have a happy mom!!!

I love hearing Wilson tell me "you're mean" (like when I tell him to do chores) I want to record it and play it for my grandchildren, from him I am like my father, I NEVER told him he was mean, he scared the crap out of me. At least Wil can tell me that I'm mean. I figure by the time Wilson turns into a dad he will be a demanding dad in a good way

I am back from making the universe thinner.

I am also not locked in the bathroom.

We watched a movie we both loved last night that I got off of Netflix. It was comedy called "Adam and Steve." We loved it and thought it was really funny. Not though appropriate for kids or perhaps viewers whose sensibilities might be more sensitive.

Well.....that certainly wouldn't apply to any of us!

YAY, our temps are going to jump into the 70sF tomorrow! This is SOOOOO not even like summer.

We had a great time at the zoo, the dinosaur exhibit was pretty cool, and we got lots of exercise.

Hi folks! I didn't get on the computer much this weekend, just a few minutes a day to check on my farm. We had a good weekend, but missed getting out in the kayaks. Today I did not want to wake up, so although I set my alarm to get up early and exercise, I just moved it ahead to the last possible minute and went back to sleep. Ken & the girls were still in bed when I left. Hopefully they'll have a busy day doing some work around the house.

I hope today is a better day for you, Nan! Good luck to Paul in his interview today.
