Just checking in....have to go back and see all the 'memory' posts!

We just got back from seeing Star Trek with Ian and having a late lunch at Grand Lux...yummm. Tonight will be a quiet evening 'at home'. Dianne and Cheri have trotted off to the store to get in some supplies.

Deb & John, Venetial & Bubba, I spent all morning thinkging about our Mother's Day last year and the wonderful memorial we did on the deck 7 verandah! And then spenidn the day showing Kathe the 'ropes' for Castaway Cay.

Off to catch up on the last couple of days......

Kathe, have a wonderful and safe trip down to Mickey's house!

Holly, you can use some general guidelines when picking meals at WDW....grilled or broiled instead of fried, red sauce over white sauce, remember to subsutitue fruit for fries sometimes. Also, remember YOU can order a kids meal also for smaller portions (so if you want chicken fingers and fries, you are at least getting a smaller portion). I find that the weeks before me vacation it's easier to talk myself out of treats....I just say to myself "no, I'll wait and have a Mickey bar at WDW".

The girls are back...time to settle in...

Thanks for the tips Jackie, that really helps. Fortunately, I'm not a big fan of fries anyway, so subbing with fruit will be easy for me to do.

I totally TANKED foodwise today. I just can't resist nachos and cotton candy at a baseball game. BUT..... in the one day shy of 3 weeks that I've been doing WW, I've not cheated even one time and have never gone over my daily points, so I really don't feel bad about one day of splurging because tomorrow I'll start right back on track. I can't imagine one day would be the difference between losing or not on my weigh-in tomorrow. If so though, no big deal because I'm back on track starting right now.

So we had a great time at the baseball game today! I FROZE though. I didn't check the temperature, but I'm pretty sure it was in the high 40s, really strong & cold winds. Everybody was wearing winter coats. Well, most people were. Tyler was hot and sweat though because he was running and climbing at the playground for about 3 hours straight, and then ran the bases 2 or 3 times after the game. Crazy kid! Kids eat free on Sundays, so he was given a certificate for a free hot dog and drink. Then when the hot dog cannon drove around the field later in the game, we caught another hotdog, so he was thrilled!

Then we came home and played in the back yard for a while too. Fun day, but I'm wiped out!

Oh.....I have no pictures to share from today. My new camera battery was dead and I couldn't find the charger. Still can't find it. So then I was looking for my old still camera. Couldn't find it either! We desperately need to clean. We both keep losing things in the clutter.

Thanks Jackie! I'm all packed and ready to go! Had a nice dinner out with my parents and Sara and Trevor.We went somewhere where they don't take ressies, so we went early, or so we thought, at 5:00. We were told it would be an hour and a half wait So we sent Trevor to scout out another restaurant for us while we waited in case he wasn't successful! He called a few minutes later from our "second choice" restaurant and had secured us a table So, we only wasted about a half hour, not too bad.

I am getting picked up by the shuttle at 3:30 AM for my journey to the Detroit airport, so I better try to get at least a couple of hours of sleep.See you all in a week!
