Just got back from mom's appt this morning and she is okay

The eye has settled down, now to keep her from touching it for the next few days

At my surgery center, they can spend the night...that way you get the best of both worlds. If the doctor refuses to do the next eye at the hospital (eye doctors usually like to work at surgery centers), be sure to reach out to me so I can give you tips as to how to either make it go the hospital or see about an overnight stay at a surgery center.

I love seeing all these photos...gosh, I hope we can swing the EB TA!! Seeing all these pictures does make me want to keep it, rough weather and all!

I've decided that the "Stones" are hormone related... and everyone is going to get really tired of me talking about it...

they took 6 vials of blood this morning to see what's up.

I looked up the symptoms of Peri-menopause and out of the 35 common ones... I have 31... including being a cranky you know what...

TMI... I know... but by now... Bubba has stopped reading...

It appears I lost weight while on the cruise!!!

I left for the cruise at 213....yesterday I weighed in at 207!!

I guess there's something to be said about getting a stomach virus

I left for the cruise at 213....yesterday I weighed in at 207!!

I guess there's something to be said about getting a stomach virus

I saw her several times during the cruise and she had several "outfits" for that cane.

I do remember it now that it changed several outfits it was old lady with it....

I forgot all about it until photo then I remembered it now lol

Please keep my mom in prayers and pixie dust. She had her cataract surgery today and she had a terrible reaction due to her glacoma and had to go back to the doctor to have the pressure relieved from her eye. Scared my sister pretty badly, mom was vomitting, delirious and almost passed out. I had to run out of the house before Paul was home from work (leaving the kids) to calm my sister. To top it off my sisters and I are fighting. The older two just don't care for mom the way us younger two do and it gets very irritating Thanks for listening to the vent

Back from the "cruise?" How convenient, just as we return to Chicago.

(So glad you had an overall good time, aside from getting sick. I would really love to hear about what another cruise line is like. We've only ever been on DCL.)

So, things are settling down and getting back to normal at Eastwood Manor.

We had a wonderful time in WDW and loved our 1-bedroom at Old Key West.

It appears that Cheri survived her time with Tallulah and Truman and they did not try to tie her up. In fact, they were the most well adjusted this time when we came home.

Too bad vacations seem to pass so quickly.

Nan, Sorry your mom has not been feeling well. When my mom had eye surgery, we thought it was going to be a "piece of cake" and it wasn't. Today (12 months later) she still complains about it.

Daniel made it home today about 2pm. He had his last exam at 7am this morning. Now two weeks of work and off to France to study for 8 weeks. He will have the time of his life. It is very good to have him home.
