Final 11-7 ( much tighter than the prior 2), top of the 3rd winning 6-2 and we got another triple play, that makes for one each game so far. Either our boys (& 1 girl) are good, or those other teams suck. ok a bit of both....

After I took nyquil I slept great for a few hours. Woke up to say goodbye to Ken (he left me to go to work already - first real night home and he's gone ).

So sorry but I figured one of us had better go to work and start to PAY for the trip!!

Plus you want to go camping with Gaylean and Jon this summer and meet up with Michelle in Vancouver, and now I just showed you how we could go to some place like Lake Tahoe or even Cabo this summer on points for a weekend. So one of us has to make the money to do that ...

OH MY GOSH!!! I CANNOT believe you guys are all still going! Wow! I was feeling very sad and missing our trip so much I decided to pop over and just lurk on some of the boards, and here I find you all!

I haven't kept up at all since probably Julyne of last year, so I won't pretend to know what's been going on with everyone, but I'm glad to see the group still active. I glean that you had another meet recently! That's awesome! Are some of you still planning a reunion cruise this Fall? Wish we could go. Unfortunately we're "stuck" with a trip to Hawaii for Alison's choir, (Just Alison and me) so no family vacation for us this year.

We did finally make it to WDW for 9 days in December, using our DVC membership that we bought on the cruise. It was wonderful and we loved it but we all agreed we'd rather be on the Magic!

I've been desperately trying to figure out how to fit in another cruise next year, but between Erik starting college and Alison's gymnastics competition season, I just don't see a time we can all go. I HATE having a son in college! (Well he's not there yet, but I'm anticipating) You just don't have the flexibility to up and go like we did in High School. And as much as I know the day is coming, I'm just not ready to go cruising without them yet.

Anyway, just wanted to say HI! I'll go back to reading what you've all been up to for the last year!

Nice to see you. This is thread number 12 since the cruise, but I think things are slowing just a little now with folk having other cruise threads to chat on.

Try and pop in more often.

Yeah I guess we will have to think about doing Malign Canyon this May when we head out to Edmonton for the long weekend. It's been awhile since we have done it.

WELL....I got on the computer bright and early to just do a little catch up and here I am SIX HOURS later. I feel like I've put in a full day at the office.

Between the assorted DIS threads, facebook, and a couple of LOST websites, I've done a lot of reading this morning. This is what happens when you have your nose in books for two weeks (10 books). AND, I haven't checked my home e-mail yet.

Now I have to go write out my checks...which I was supposed to have delivered to the post office by 1PM....twelve minutes from now... PLUS, I'm getting a little hungry.

I've been a bit of a couch potato, but have also been working on Tyler's countdown paper chain, went to his karate tournament, and am working on his blog to share with family & friends. A co-worker suggested it because she has one for her son so family out of town can keep up with what he's doing. I showed it to Tyler and he loved the idea and asked if I can do one for him. I think my family will really like it! It's almost done.

Yes, we're on a winter storm advisory until about 1PM tomorrow. They are saying that it will be 5 to 7 inches of snow.

Bizarre if you consider we were in the upper 60's last weekend.

That is quite a bit of snow considering it is almost April. Is this normal for where you are?.

It's not unusual. I've see blizzards as late as mid-April. It's going to be warming up in the week and be in the 50'sF by midweek.

Oh my gosh, Tyler and I might need to take a road trip to go sledding! We're supposed to have thunderstorms tonight, turning into snow by noon tomorrow, with just a dusting of snow. I'm sure it will melt by bedtime though.

I never do, never have, because that's how I set it up way back when I first started posting. maybe your settings got changed somehow when they did the upgrade?

For us here, it would be unusual NOT to have snow in March and April. The weather we've been having is unusually warm. April usually brings a couple big snow dumps and then the end of April is mostly rain.
