Now....is it restaurants only....can it be used in a resort/poolside bar, in the food courts, at counter service locations?

I wish the DDP allowed you to choose between appetizer OR dessert, as so many more of those appeal to me that the sweet treats do. I can always hold out for ordering multiple appetizers on the ship however!

Just verified that the TIW card CAN be used in conjunction with the DDP, to apply to the off plan portion of your bill....HENCE...cocktails and appetizers with your dinner (or lunch....or breakfast) as you are billed that stuff separately.

Also, Disney is doing free dining mid Aug through the first week of Oct...so ADRs are going to be even MORE necessary.

Jackie, TIW card can be used at the resort bars but not poolside, at least not at CSR or POR so I'm assuming poolside's aren't included. Sara, Trevor and I enjoyed doing a monorail crawl on Halloween night I was lucky my card cost only $60.00 and I saved about $100.00 for the 3 of us for just that one week.I've decided in May I will try the dining plan and am going for dinners instead of my usual late lunches, which I usually do to save money. I plan to use my DDE card as you suggested, for cocktails and maybe an appetizer or two. Oh, and you can't use the card at foodcourts, except for POFQ as they don't have a sit down restaurant. You can't use it at fast food places either, except for AK. I can't remember if the waterparks have one or two places you can use it or not.

So we didn't even leave the house today. Had a relaxing day, even took a 2 hour nap! I was lying on the couch watching snowboarding on TV and dozed off, woke up to find Tyler lying on the other end of the couch sleeping too! It started snowing at some point, and we were both so happy to see snow, we took a long walk outside in it. It was snowing pretty heavily, we were both covered with a nice coating of it by the time we got home. Definitely not enough to shovel, but the ground is all white and pretty. Sadly, I think it's done though. I was hoping for snow all night long and all day tomorrow so we can go sledding! No such luck.

I just heard the official amount on the news: 2 1/2 inches. It's not been above freezing all day, so none of it melted, other than on the sidewalks and roads, but we'll reach the 40s tomorrow afternoon, so it will melt of course.

How do you tell an 18 month old who's holding her arms out to you that your back is sore and you probably shouldn't be picking her up!!! Of course I picked her up, numerous times I gave her a bath too, while her mom was finishing her laundry. I am going to be so sore tomorrow...but that's okay, I'm happy

I do remember that my grandma get my nerves... but when she died (she was 94 years old) I miss her terrible, I miss her moaning, grumpy woman but she was so lovely woman...

I just back home now as times is 2.52 am as one hour forward.... I had a good times with Alison with meals and meet friends later....

It ended up being a long terrible Saturday day with mom, so we opted to send her home a night early and it's so incredibly peaceful right now....just us 3 girls left.

last night was a blast, dinner with everyone (14 total) and then bonfire on the beach. A great bday with family.

Basically, the TIW card will pay for your tips (or tax and tip depending on your tipping habits).

I've gotta remember to start a 'tips for WDW' envelope and start throwing all my singles in it every once and a while.
