Good to chat with you Deb. I'm glad we're all having nice weather. Kids must be so happy being outside on a nice spring day. It's another favorite time of the year for me.

I need my Sept cruise so badly. I'm feeling lacking in the mouse department lately. I could use a good dose of my favorite place in the world.

Even though it's not the Baltic, it's still a Disney Cruise and it's a great trip to take while keeping a tight budget in this economy. You will be happy just to be onboard. How many sea days are on your cruise. We love those the most.

We're having typical PA spring weather.....highs for the day 50s and at night 30s.....mostly sunny with a light breeze. It's so beautiful.

Sorry you'll be getting more cold next week. It makes you enjoy today more.

We've been in the 40s during the day and 20s overnight. But next week 50s during the day and 30s at night, so that will be a bit better. Still waiting for the couple more snowfalls that come in March or April. Hoping it's enough to go sledding!

Good morning all.

No big plans today. I have a handyman coming to fix the kitchen sink. The disposer got clogged and we unscrewed some pipes and cracked one.

I'm very handy with everything (my forte is electrical and woodwork) except plumbing. I have no success with plumbing. It ranges from 3,000 trips to the hardware store because I have bought the wrong thing, or they don't fit, to slow dripping that I can't fix.

I decided to just call in a handyman I've used before and be done with it.

Some of our normal errands this morning and then that's it. Perhaps a long walk later. I have to get in my 10,000 steps today.

Why didn't you just call Shannon??? She's quite handy...

That's a statement with too many levels for me to even think about.

I mean I could react to it as a complement, insult or with a sense of fear.

Complement - Shannon is pretty darn nifty

Insult - You might be criticizing me

Fear - well, I already have Bubba stalking me. I don't need another one.

We're done with our coffee chat. We talked about what our life would have been like if we never rescued Sandi from her life in Kentucky when Tom and Kris were 2 and 3 years old and brought her back here to live. We said why did she move down to Florida, come back here to live with us, just to turn around and move back down to Florida? Why didn't she just stay down there? Tom did the same thing to us....in our lives, out of our lives. Where would our lives have gone if we had never stuck our necks out to take any of them in from so long ago and up to right now? We swore that we would never do it again.

Because you love... that's why...

and I'm sending Planky to come and live with you full time, but he's going to revolt and insist that he wants to come back up here because Mom makes really good chocolate chip cookies...

Well I opened a twitter account this morning.....Ian and Ken I need to add you....and I'm using it differently. I'm "following" famous people and news items. It's a way to stay connected on a more worldwide level. I'm just checking it out for now, I'll see how I like it in time.

Yes, true we are happy to be onboard and it is for 8 days so we are thinking to stay in Barcelona for 3 nights after that and we like to go back to see waterfall with music called Magic Fountain. We went there two years ago for Disney Cruise at Med..

Yes, tight budget - money crunch credit here but we are happy to change over which we can afford it as we put down big deposit last year... And kids are happy with it as they like Spain...

Hi Deborah! Have a nice and relaxing weekend! I'm really going to try to clean over the weekend. I've really let things go again and just can't get motivated, but it's honestly so bad, I have to step over things on the floor to walk through the living room no empty surface in the kitchen to put things on. I just lost my motivation again for some reason.

Tomorrow I will be out all day but it is Mother's Day tomorrow but we will go out for meals with family together next weekend Sunday as Keith's birthday... He want ten pins bowling then family together for meals for late mother day and his birthday... He will be 12 years old...

But with Facebook. When I first went on my homepage this morning it was full of individual 'sendings' of Cadbury's Easter Eggs by another friend. Then you came along and send a whole lot of paradise places out, and they all appear individually. They used to have one post saying these things had been sent, with a list of names of those receiving them, not all individual posts as they are now.

Well, I apologize (sort of).

Why in the world would they inform you of every individual one I sent?

It's a really nice day here, 50F, but I'm stuck in the house. Right now I'm waiting for the handyman. He's supposed to be here between 1 and 2. I really want to go out for a walk, or at least do some exercising with the Wii Fit, but I'm afraid to start anything.

Instead, I've been doing a lot of clean-up on my iMac in prep for some stuff that's going to happen.

I'm going through and deleting files that are really doing nothing more than taking up space.

I am happy that I got email from Belguim family that they were on cruise with us at Med 07... they tell me that they will book Dover to Barcelona and we will meet up again... Oh that is nice news... as they are lovely family...They made me feeling better when we cancel the Baltic...
