Hi Holly!

I'm sitting here trying to decide what to do next--watch Benjamin Buttons or Seven Pounds? popcorn::

Or do I read? Nap? :cloud9:

I think that's the extent of what I want my options to be. :lmao: (I am already doing :laundy: ).

I'd go for a nap, but then I wouldn't be able to read when I wake up... (I'm working on the list for the EB thread... )

Hi Monica! :goodvibes I'd say, go for reading and let that lead into a nap, then when you wake up, pop in a movie (or both)! :thumbsup2

Sounds like a plan...

Ken... that is ONE butt ugly fruit... :scared: Does it taste better than it looks???

Me and John are just chilling today too. We both have little tummy bugs. It's just enought to know it's not right but it's not really bad.

I'm supposed to soak the legs today but NO WAY. The epsom salt makes them sting and the right one is already acting up after yesterday. The pain is tolerable so no drugs but it's borderline extreme. It it gets worse I will have to go take the vicodin again. I'm trying to hold off.

Either way, I'm not feeling all that good today. I'll have to nap soon and see if it makes me feel better.....gotta get flat anyway.

Hi Holly....it sounds like a great way to spend the night. You guys will have fun. I'm glad you're finally starting to get some energy back. That's got to make you feel good. I wonder if it's from doing the exercise tapes???

I doubt it, because I stopped doing them 3 weeks ago and am trying to get back into it. I did it Wednesday and Thursday, but skipped yesterday because I could barely walk, and haven't done it today because my knees aren't letting me. Perhaps later tonight after Tyler's in bed. I seem to have better luck doing it at that time, possibly because my knees are loosened up from moving around all day. I never had knee trouble until I gained all the weight, and when I lost it all last year all knee pain went away, but of course, since I gained it all back, the knees aren't cooperating again. So I assume they'll be better again if I can lose the weight again, it's just tough getting to that point.

Wow, I never knew such a thing existed! Never heard of it. Doesn't look like something I'd like to eat though!

Sorry Deb! :hug::hug::hug:

And here I thought that's what you got Dragon berries from :rotfl: (from the PBS show "Dragon Tales") :lmao:

I can relate....it's the same with me and the weight and the legs. It's the same catch 22 scenerio. Don't give up....keep working on it. Me too. It took me three tries before I quit smoking for good. If I keep falling off the cart, I'm fine as long as I get back on and don't stop trying to make it work. Sooner or later it will kick in.

YAY!! I just received an email from Amazon.com telling me my video camera was shipped today! :yay: It was kind of iffy budget-wise whether I'd be able to spring for one before Florida. I've been looking, researching, reading reviews, comparing prices, etc., since long before Ian posted about the Webbie-HD a while back. I liked the price of that one, but wasn't too happy about the reviews because people said it records the sound of the inner workings of the cam onto your videos. :headache: Then I posted one not too long ago that I just love because it's also waterproof, which is good for how active Tyler and I are. That wasn't the selling point for me, but just an added bonus. But I still wasn't sure if I could swing the price. Then Ian told me he'd seen it for a lower price on Amazon, so I finally purchased! Saved lots of money and got free shipping, so I'm happy!

I think the nap may win out....we'll see after I take the stuff out of the dryer, put stuff in the dryer, and a new load in the washer.

Aww.....Tyler and I love Dragon Tales! We even went to see a live show 2 or 3 years ago. :goodvibes I'll be sad when he outgrows all the PBS shows because I love them all! Well, except Cyberchase. That one is boring to me. And now with our new TV, we get 4 PBS stations from 3 different places, so we get even more great shows! We get so many more channels by just getting the digital TV, I really don't think we need to bother adding cable just yet. :thumbsup2 And I love being able to push the "Info" button on the remote to see a description of what we're watching, just like I used to have with the paid cable box.

I agree Deb! I'm impressed that I only fell off the wagon for 3 weeks. I usually take months to a year before getting back the motivation to exercise. :thumbsup2 And the funny part is, I thought I'd have to start all over again with stamina. Turns out, I was able to do the workout even better than I was able to 3 weeks ago. Strange! And after only being back into it for 2 days, I honestly felt like I could start doing level 2 soon. Worst part for me is upper body strength though. I just can't do pushups, and doing the modified version on my knees hurts my knees. But I'll keep trying because eventually my arms should gain that strength if I keep at it. :thumbsup2

Hi Jacks....so glad you're making such good progress with your recouperation. Keep it going.

I didn't realize that AZ doesn't do DST. So how many hours does that make it that we'll be different starting tomorrow?

We'll be three hours...I'll be on the same time as California.

Well, time to get cleaned up and go do some grocery shopping.

later kids...............

Holly, which one did you finally end up getting?

I rarely buy much in stores these days, aside from household provisions, and a few small things.

Nearly EVERYTHING else is bought on line, and much of it at Amazon. I do that for a number of reasons, but mainly lower prices and no sales tax. Which is a great savings considering that Chicago has the highest sales tax rate in the country.

Ian, this is the one I got: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9064424&type=product&id=1218014502157

I hear you on the sales tax. Of course, ours isn't as high as yours, we're only at 6%, but it's still nice to order online and avoid it. It all adds up! :thumbsup2

I have 2 frustrating issues I'm trying to work out and am dealing with both via lots of back and forth e-mail.

First, I purchased an insurance policy for just $6/ticket for our Disney on Ice tickets that is to reimburse me for missing the show. I've never purchased that before on tickets to a show, but I spent so much on those tickets, I didn't want to take any chances. I've been told I'll be reimbursed and how to submit a claim through their website, BUT I don't have the e-mail that they sent that shows my confirmation number or policy number. I don't even remember seeing it, so it may have gone to junk mail, I don't know. So I'm going back and forth, giving them lots of detailed info, hoping they can look me up in their system. It should work, but it's just frustrating waiting.

It would certainly be quicker to deal with this over the phone, BUT.....that leads to my 2nd issue I'm working on. In an effort to eliminate some monthly bills last year, when I cancelled cable I also got rid of my phone and went with a pay as you go phone (costs more per minute, but I don't talk on the phone much, so it's actually cheaper this way). I have a small card on my keychain that I use at Target to purchase refills in $20 increments. They scan my card at the checkout and it's instantly credited to my phone. Well, I did a refill on Wednesday, I have the receipt from Target saying "successfull activation", so I'm working on getting that taken care of.

Both things will work out, but it's such a PAIN dealing with it! :headache:

I would stick it out with the e-mail methodology. You can spend a lot of time going talking to machines on the phone and getting put on hold while they look this up and talk to this supervisor. That just ends up costing you more that you can't get reimbursed for.

Oh, and by the way, I paid $105 less for mine! It's from Amazon's warehouse discounts (or whatever it's called) which usually just means the box was damaged or the product has been opened and then resealed, or could have some cosmetic damage. It's a bit of a risk, but for the difference in price, I was willing, especially after reading tons and tons of reviews from people who bought that way saying that their item was perfectly fine. So, I'm pretty comfortable with the choice. I guess I'll find out soon enough!

I agree. With both issues, I've been getting a response within a day, so that's fine with me. It stinks being without a phone, but I'm confident both issues will be resolved soon. :thumbsup2
