No, I'm not

I am falling apart...I am not any better and now my eye has something in it - it's all red and I had to take out my contacts and am half blind. I will be glad when this week is over.
Can't....between May and Sept vacations, losing 5 days of pay this quarter and some outpatient surgery gotta save my pennies!
.
It is tough to teach kids the value of money. We started allowances last fall so that the kids would start to get the idea of how much stuff cost. Kaleigh's doesn't really get it yet, but Shaelyn is understanding it. It really cut down on her wanting to buy stuff. If we're in a store and she asks for something, we usually respond that she'd have to use her money and whatever she's looking at is 2 allowances or 1 allowance or whatever. It's working well.
I think V sent her germs through cyber space. I've felt it coming on for a couple of days and last night it hit. Stayed home from work today. I have two days to get better or Gaylean is gonna kill me! We are supposed to go to her sisters house this Sun. to watch the Super Bowl. I think she just needs Venetia there to keep her from getting bored! She already told me..." Don't you EVEN think about cancelling!"![]()

Cheri can't come either Gaylean.
What happened? She said she would. Now this is a real mini meet.
What do you want for dinner?
I can't even imagine what you'd be saying about me if I canceled anything. You may be doing this![]()
Hi Nurse Ratchit!!!
No, I'm notanymore. Whatever you want to have is fine with me. Cuz I want stuff I know we arent supposed to have.
What? like Chick-Fil-A?
:thumbsup3: Sounds like you have a good plan.
Dr Phil had some families today whose adult kids were living at home and parents were paying the full cost of food, car, insurance, cell phone, clothes etc.
One of the outside expertshe had on today gives a class to grade school kids about handling finances. Two of the young adult kids sat in on it. The participants each get a piggy bank with four compartments--SAVE, SPEND, INVEST and something else--i have a headache and am not thinking clearly--sorry.
The 25 year old girl was in tears because she said this teacher was the first person who ever treated her like she was mature enough to handle her own finances.
Sounds like your ideas are good onesMaybe the Dr Phil Show website will have a link to order the piggy bank or at least info about the concept if you want the kids to make their own.
