Wow sweetie, that's scary. So glad you're safe. It's going to take you even longer to get home because we're getting all rain here now on top of the snow. Then it's supposed to all freeze to ice tonight. Be very careful. How did our Suzie do??? Did you have to use the 4 wheel drive? (Suzie is our Suzuki that we just got. I named her.) I hope you can get up the field tonight. It's not plowed yet. Good Luck!:drive:

Hi Deb:wave2: John just got to work. He won't be home until very late tonight.

Thanks for the compliment on the snow pictures. It all kind of looks the same....snow in the woods....that's my yard. The ice will come later.

John,

Just be safe.

It is my experience that often there are jerks in 4-WD who think that their cars can compensate for the laws of physics.

Just because I thought we could all use a little break today....here's the hotel in St. Thomas that Monica sent me. I'm going to book it for my Tortola cruise. Don't we all wish we were there right now.

Beautiful! St. Thomas is my favorite place (other than on the ship). I still plan on staying in one of the cottages up on Paradise Point sometime! It's my dream vacation. :goodvibes

I think that is what I want to do - take the cable car up to Paradise Point.

We went out to the grocery store, then stopped to get Subway to bring home for lunch. Tyler decided he didn't want Subway and wanted to just eat something from home. After lunch I went out to finally shovel while Tyler continued the Pirate's saga. :rotfl2:

I had to call the doctor's office again because nobody ever called me back. This time, instead of leaving a voice mail where they told me to, I specifically asked the receptionist to personally give a message to the doctor. She told me Tyler's doctor is out today, that's why I never got a return call. Well, you'd think that if the doctor isn't in today, the receptionist wouldn't have had me leave a voice mail for her (and I did tell her in advance what was up). Anyway, as I was typing the first part of this post, a nurse called me back. She told me she's' not surprised that this made him throw up because she said Augmentin is very rough on adult stomachs too. :scared: So why give it to a kid?! :sad2: It wasn't given to us by Tyler's doctor because she didn't see us yesterday. They just squeezed us in with whoever they could because I was demanding the strep test right away that day.

ANYWAY, they're going to call something in soon and the pharmacy will call me when it's ready. Good grief!

You absolutely must! But don't book it through DCL, it's cheaper to just walk across the street and pay at the start of the Tramway. :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: Tyler's got this giant plastic tote that we keep all his pirate ships and other pirate things in. The tote is almost as big as he is, so it's not very organized inside. He told me today he's tired of not being able to find what he needs, so he's going to organize the stuff inside by putting similar items together in ziploc bags. His example cracked me up. He said, "You know, in one bag I could just put extra body parts...." :rotfl:You can remove the heads and arms and legs of the Lego pirates so you can switch bodies so it looks like each one is dressed differently I suppose. So he keeps losing heads and arms, and having parts lying all over the floor. :sad2: I'd be alarmed if he were intentionally ripping them apart, but I know he's just switching them out to suit his imagination, so it's just funny! ;)

:rotfl2:"Mom, who does this body belong to? Is this Bootstrap Bill's leg?" :scared: :rotfl:

OK, I've had enough of a break from the Legos, I'm off to play some more before we head to the pharmacy.

Those May hours have to be out soon! This is the first trip I've purchased a package for, so I'm thinking of adding on the dining plan. Haven't used it before, but it might be fun to eat a few more dinners, I usually have my big meals at lunch to save money. I'm planning on choosing places where the desserts look good too, since I normally don't order those either! I will still be able to use my DDE card for a discount on drinks and extras not covered on the plan :thumbsup2 I expect by Feb 10 when I can start to make my ressies that the May hours will be out. Rumour is they'll be out by Feb 1st?

Disney Dining Experience card, now called Tables in Wonderland(TIW). You can buy it if you are a Florida resident or an Annual Passholder. Gives you 20% off most table service restaurants for up to 10 people, including drinks. 18% gratuity automatically added to bill.

That is what I was wondering. Is it quite obvious? I thought we had to take a ferry.

No ferry needed. We wanted to do it one time and our friends went and told us all about it. You walk past all the shops at the terminal where the ships dock. Then you go up lots of steps to get to the trams. It's great if you're in shape to do it. I would not make it. So even though we had tickets, we didn't do it. It's usually very hot outside too. Our friends had a good time and enjoyed it. You and John will do fine.
