I am finding Facebook extremely creepy.

Yesterday, I received an email from a guy who I was friends with in high school. The last time I spoke to him in was in 1973.

He also stopped speaking to me in 1973 when I came out. That was 36 years ago.

I just realized that I can change my settings so that people can't find me.

I've got nothing to hide, but I really don't know how I feel about people wanting stumble back into my life.

Am I the only one who finds this creepy?

I found one of my best friends from high school that lives in NY now. She went to Japan after high school to study there so we lost contact. It was nice to find her. I haven't been graduated as long as you though so it wasn't creepy. I don't look at it much. I think it has been months. I don't like all the applications they want you to have and people keep sending them to me. I'm not even sure what they are for or how to use them.

OK that didn't work. Jon apparently doesn't want to start the day yet. I figured out why it's been so cold in the morning. We have school windows in our house that you need a poll to open. Well I guess I left a couple open.

Besides being super busy at work, yesterday was sad too. Jenn, the secretary who was hired to replace me when I was going to take that other job in October was let go yesterday. Our office manager told me a week ago that yesterday would be the day. They wanted to wait until the end of a co-worker's vacation so we'd have the extra help through yesterday. She told me earlier in the day that when she called Jenn into her office at 4:30, I was to go log Jenn off the computer and lock her out, and take any files off her desk and move them to mine. It was sad because she just found out about 3 weeks ago that she's pregnant and she's been worried about finances because her husband hasn't had luck finding a job. They were just starting to get caught up financially with her working full-time. She's not as pregnant as Tyler's stepmom, but she's really showing, so she'll probably have a hard time finding a job. :sad2: Not many places will want to hire somebody who's going to have to be off on maternity leave in a few months. I'm very sad for her and hope she finds a job right away.

What are school windows? I'm assuming they're high up since you said you need a pole to open them, but I've never heard of windows like that.

That is really sad. I hope the husband can find a job. Things are so bad right now.

Does Tyler's dad know what they are having yet?

They are high and it's funny that I spelled pole that way :lmao: Your schools don't have high windows that you need a pole to open?

My house has vaulted ceilings like it is two story but it isn't and they are in the highest part.

Gay - great job on getting the job! AND super kudos on the weigh loss - I'm so proud of you!

I don't know, I haven't asked. I'm sure they should know by now because if she's due in the spring, she's probably 5 months along I'd guess. But I'm afraid to ask because I didn't see her for about 3 weeks, and then when I saw her on Wednesday I looked to see if she's showing, and her stomach is flat as a board. :confused3 If she's due in the spring, she should be showing quite a bit by now, especially since she was already really thin. Thin people seem to show sooner. So I'm afraid to ask in case something happened to the baby again. :guilty:

That's rough. Hope something opens up for them soon.

I forgot that Tyler's stepmom was pregnant - is Tyler still ok w/ that?

That's a good idea. It seems like they would tell Tyler when they do find out.

I don't know. The only ones I've noticed are waist level because I've used them to peek in to see Tyler's new classroom.

What is "Google Talk" that Matt put the quote about whistling so the dog will run and choke himself on? :confused3
