WBC or Windsor hills?

I'm planning a trip for April/May 2016. I love the idea of WBC but my OCD is kinda weirded out with a theme of poor communication from the rental sources. My second choice is Windsor Hills. We need a 2 bedroom max if that helps. First time staying off property. Pros/cons for either??

I don't have any experience with WBC. The prices are always higher than I want to pay considering I can find a condo in WH for less than $500 for the week. That said, if I found a good deal I would definitely try WBC.

I think their pros and cons would be similar. I think WBC offers shuttle service which you will not find at WH and from what I can tell WBC has a better pool and a lazy river.

WBC is more of a resort type environment and we prefer to stay there. The units at WBC are consistently in better shape than those we've rented at WH through vacationcentralflorida.com. We're even willing to pay $100-$150 more to stay at WBC for the week (but we usually go 3-5x in a twelve month period). If we went once a year, we'd probably pay more than that to stay at WBC. Any more than $150 more for WBC, and we seriously consider WH, keeping in mind the time of year that we're traveling. Peak travel times (Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas) we may pay even more to stay at WBC because of it's proximity to the parks and the ease of getting back and forth.

If you can find a well-reviewed property at Windsor Hills, go for it. Much less expensive and the resort and properties are actually nicer than they are pictured. Besides, how much time do you plan to stay at the actual resort? If you're like us, the answer is not much. Breakfast in the morning, lunch and maybe a nap, then bedtime. Maybe one or two afternoons are pool days. Maybe. :D

Where do you find such great deals for WBC? Every time I've checked I can't find anything close to what we spend booking in WH. It's always twice the cost. I'm clearly looking in the wrong places.

I would try www.vacationupgrades.com for an amount from Ken Price. He is very reliable and will offer you a fair price. WBC has become so popular that the prices have gone up - supply and demand. The shuttle is not very good at WBC - have to reserve 24 hours in advance - so it is best to have a car to use at WBC.

I agree. Two thumbs up for Vacationupgrades.com for WBC. I have heard great things about Windsor Hills and it does seem cheaper. That said we are headed to WBC next week.

We've been very lucky with finding WBC on eBay about 45-55 days out. Although, we stayed there this past Easter for $750 and that was booked the September before.

Thanks for the help everyone! We will be driving so the shuttle is not an issue.

We have not stayed at WBC but have stayed at WH twice. We love WH and cannot say enough good things about it. The pool is awesome, the property is pristine and quiet and the location is extremely convenient. Even though, distance wise, it's further from Disney property, you'll find that the drive times to the parks is about the same from WH as from WBC. I think the drive time to DHS and AK is actually less from WH. Anyway, since we have never stayed at WBC I cannot say that WH is any better or worse. But I can definitely say that you'll love WH.

Bonnet Creek is a resort with lots of activities. Windsor hill is a gated community with a large community pool. Depends what you like on vacation
