WBC on e-bay...help please

WBC is booked solid for the week I wanted in March Yeah, I know, I should have booked sooner. I just had too much going on and didn't get around to it. We are DVC members and are making 3 trips this year and don't have points for the March stay so we will stay off site for the first time EVER!

There is a listing for exactly what I want on e-bay. I have only made 1 purchase on e-bay, although I am on quite frequently viewing items. What is the best way to purchase this to protect me? I understand there is always some risk.There is no buyer protection plan. I do have a Pay Pal account and was planning on using Mastercard that I have had for over 22 years.

Most of the feedback is positive 97%. I plan to make an offer as it is not on a timed auction.

Of course you can dispute charges with both paypal and your credit card company, but before getting to these nuclear options, study the seller.

1. Have they been selling for a while and have good feedback?
2. Do they have recent completed listings?
3. Do they respond in a timely fashion to your questions?

To a renter, dealing with a 1-feedback buyer is equally concerning, so some communication would likely help you both.

Thank you for your response. The answers to questions 1-2 are yes. I have not asked any questions so I don't have an answer to #3

I was hoping you would respond to my questions ...I have searched many threads and know that you have rented from this e-bay seller a few times. I am going to bid on WBC, but have a couple of places to use as back up in case things don't go as planned. Wish me luck
