WBC, Boardwalk & Airport hotel?

Thinking of booking 3 nights at WBC, 3 nights at the BWI and the last night at MCO airport hotel (looking to save $). We are a group of 3 women (DGM, DD & DGD). Struggling with spending the $ on BWI. Thinking we should spend the entire time at WBC? DGM (75) and DGD (25) want to stay at the BWI because of the walking distance to Epcot and the entertainment on the boardwalk. I have never stayed at the Boardwalk Inn.....is it worth the extra money?

Struggling with spending the $ on BWI. DGM (75) and DGD (25) want to stay at the BWI because of the walking distance to Epcot and the entertainment on the boardwalk.

Have you looked into potentially less expensive alternatives to the BoardWalk hotel that would still satisfy the criteria that your mom and daughter have laid out?

I think that both the Swan and the Dolphin hotels would be less expensive than BWI, Yacht Club or Beach Club at the BoardWalk complex.
