I have obtained 3 Visa gift cards, one for $50 and two for $20 through rebate offers, so $90 total. I was wondering if people have any creative ways to use these cards that might generate a little extra savings? I have had trouble using prepaid visa cards for online purchases in the past. Not sure if that is still an issue. We are saving for a Feb. 2016 Disney vacation, so any good ways to turn this into some extra Disney money would be great. Thanks.

Whenever I have something like that I use it for groceries. Then I take the cash I would have spent and buy a Disney Gift Card or put the money in my vacation savings budget :)

I always "cash" them out at the grocery store too. I use them to pay the groceries and then get cash back for the amount of the cards. I've had some trouble in the past using them for purchases that weren't the exact amount of the card when the clerk doesn't know exactly how to enter it in their register.

I'd go to a store that sells Disney gift cards & add another $10 to get a $100 gift card. I've tried to buy online at the DisneyStore.com but the little test chage of $1 to see if it's a valid card, lowers the available amount temporarily so the full charge can't go through. PITA to straighten out. Buy in a store.

Do you all think I could take them to Target and buy a $100 Disney card in store? Would they allow me to pay with 3 different visa cards plus my Target Red Card for the extra $10?

You will only get 5% off of the portion that goes on your red card.

I understand that. I am just not sure if they will allow me to have 4 different forms of payment. And then I also had the thought that I could just add $5 with my red card and get a $95 Target gc to convert into a $100 Disney card. I am going to go try that later today and see if it works.

I went to Target and got a gift card for $95 using the 3 prepaid visa cards plus another $5 from my Redcard. Worked beautifully and now I will just hold onto the gift card until I decide to convert it to $100 eBay and churn that through that way or just go directly for a $100 Disney. Thanks for the ideas guys!
