Ways from POR to MK

I saw one site that you can get from POR to MK by boat. I didn't think this was possible. Is it? What other ways besides bus and rental car....

The only boat at POR takes you to Downtown. The only way to MK is bus, rental car or you can call a cab.

If you wanted to do so ... in the late afternoon you can take a bus to DTD, then catch another bus to one of the resorts on the monorail and then take the monorail to MK. Or you can go from DTD to WL and take the boat to MK. I'm not sure why anyone would want to do that, but it is possible. The best routes are bus, car or cab, though.
