Way to improve Fastpass+

Obviously, there are several different ways it could be improved. That being said, I made all our selections last week, and it wasn't as bad as I was fearing. And thankfully, Disney smartened up and will allow for more FP's after the 3rd is used.

One thing I think they could do is separate the night time shows as a bonus 4th. If you go by the "use the 3 up quickly" strategy, then using a 3rd for Fantasmic for example won't work. That irked me. I would have liked to book a FP for Fantasmic, but didn't want to waste a FP for the day. As for the dinner package, I just don't like any of the restaurants that offer it. Really wish they'd throw 50's Prime Time and Sci Fi into the mix.

I'm assuming you mean a separate bonus 4th FP+ that you could pre-reserve with the current 3? If so I don't agree that would be an improvement. You would have the potential for more people booking them up right away, but then changing their mind and not using them, wasting spots that others could have used.

As with all things there's a trade-off. Use one of your 3 FP+ reservations for a night show and miss out on additional FP+ or don't use one of your 3 FP+ reservations for a night show and just get there at a decent enough time for a seat.

Agreed that it won't work. What I think could work (not sure about how easy to implement technically) and be fair due to the time specific nature of those, is that if you do use one of your 3 FP+ for an evening event (Parade, Illuminations, Fantasmic) that it won't count against you for booking a 4th. That is, if you pre-book Fantasmic FP+, you could book the 4th after using the other two. Since you're still giving up the ability to book something in advance, I think that would be a fair tradeoff.

Although, I agree. They need to figure out how to let people reserve parade/shows/fireworks ahead of time without it affecting the ability to get the 4th FP+ and so on.

There has to be a way for the system to recognize if you have say, MSEP as your 3rd FP+, then it should allow you to book a 4th, once you've used the first 2.
