Way OT-Tampa

We are cruising out of Tampa in Feb. Can anyone reccomend a hotel that provides shuttle service from the airport and to the port?

There are a few hotels within walking distance of the port, there's a big Marriott (which was pretty nice) and a few others nearby.

We stayed at Chase Suites. They have a package where they'll pick you up at the airport, take you to the cruise port and then at the end of the cruise they'll take you back to the airport. Or, if you have your own car, you can park there free for 10 days.

Check the hotel websites under "packages". A lot of them offer a "free' cab voucher to use for your transportation to the port as part of your rate.

We stayed at an Embassy suite, right across from a mall with great dining options. We used the hotel's courtesy van to get from the airport to the hotel. Then the next morning turned the cab voucher into our ride to the port. Went very smoothly.

I just cruised out of Tampa in June but don't have info for you since we are locals. I just wanted to say enjoy Tampa!!! The port area is really nice with the aquarium right next door (well next door to the Carnival terminal). Who are you sailing with?
