Or sugaring, to be more precise. Like many women of a certain age, I've found I have an excess amount of chin and lip hair, which has gotten to the point that I need to go to the salon about every two weeks just to keep it under control. This is getting expensive, as it runs about $25 plus tip for every visit. So I googled "at home hair removal" and found a simple mixture of sugar, lemon juice and water and decided to give it a try.
Now, being someone who has a difficult time inflicting pain on myself, I enlisted DH to do the actual ripping. He did a great job. The sugared areas look every bit as good at when I have it professionally done. I don't know if he'll be doing my eyebrows anytime soon, but I'll save about $70 per month by letting him do my lip and chin.
