I was wondering if someone who is familiar with Wawa's French Vanilla cappicino coffee that you get from the push button coffee machine could help me? I was wondering what to or how to order a coffee from starbucks that would come as close to that coffe as possible. DH and I like Wawa's French Vanilla cappicino coffee but don't like drinking any other kinds of coffee. Thanks :goodvibes

You would ask for a french vanilla latte. It's gonna taste way better than Wawa. Wawa's is just powdered crap and water. It's full of sugar and other bad stuff. The starbucks latte is better for you because it's made with real milk. I'd start with a tall latte and go frm there. A tall size only has 1 shot of espresso so it's not too strong.

Ariel I grew up in Tabernacle and probably worked at the same Wawa you go to. I also worked at Starbucks so I'm a pro at their products. A Shawnee girl would never stear you wrong.

I lived in East. PA and got my daily "fix' at WaWa. Oh WaWa...I miss you! Here in West PA we have Sheetz! Sorry I can't help you but I am interested in finding the comparison

I think DH and I like the wawa coffee because of all the sugar.
I have tried lattes at dunkin donuts and haven't liked them. To watery not enough sugar to make the flavor strong.

Anyone else have any advice for how to get a coffee like wawa's french vanilla cappicino coffee?

If I order the French Vanilla Latte do I need to tell them to do anything with it (sugar, milk type, ect..) so it tastes like the wawa coffee or do I just tell them to give me a Tall French Vanilla Latte and thats it? :confused3

You add the sugar yourself. A tall french vanilla latte is all you need to ask for. All drinks unless specified are made with 2% milk. You can also ask them for extra pumps of syrup. It normally is made with 2 pumps but you could ask them for say a tall 4 pump french vanilla latte.

I would like to ask a question about the hot chocolate. I believe the hot choclate is made with milk so can I get it made with whole milk?

Also what flavor syrups can I get in it?

Everything but a Chai is made with milk. You can request any kind of milk you like. They even have soy milk. They have lots of different syrup flavors. They are all listed on the menu wall board.

Anouther question for the baristas.

Can I order a Cinnamon dolce creme, and the salted caramel signature hot chocolate in a short size?

I figured DH and I can try both if we can get it in the smaller size.

Edited to add: What hot drinks can you not get in the short size?

Anything is better than Starbucks coffee :thumbsup2

I will even go so far in saying that WDW coffee is better than Starbucks.:crazy2:

Starbucks is a Phenom I will NEVER understand!:confused3

WAWA is the BEST!:thumbsup2

I have anouther question. I did some searching around the internet and found out that Starbucks is offering $1.00 shorts and Free refills on their poured coffees. Can anyone tell me if this is going on? I read they are doing it to compete with McDonalds.

A Starbuck's latte will NOT have sugar in it. If you like the stuff you get from Wawa, chances are that you like a sweet drink. Also a Starbuck's latte will cost you between $3.50 and 5 bucks a cup.

Another alternative is to order a cup of coffee with cream and sugar and ask for a shot of french vanilla syrup. It may be closer to what you like and will cost half the price.

I'm pretty much a bold roast with cream kind of girl but I do like the gingerbread latte around the holidays. Otherwise I do not like my coffee sweet.

Well I got to try the short cinnamon dolce creme yesturday. It was really good. I just had to add one packet of splenda to make it sweeter. I love my sweets. :thumbsup2

I got DH the kids hot chocolate cause he like to chug down his hot chocolate so a lot cooler drink is best for him. He liked it but said that it was still a bit to hot then what he thought it should be. He said that he could still burn himself with it but probably not as bad as if it it was full temp.

Today DH and I tried the short salted carmel hot chocolate and the short hazelnut hot chocolate. We didn't care for the hazelnut but did like the salted camel but not as much as the cinnamon dolce creme. :goodvibes
