My name is Dana, and this is my new favorite site! I have spent literally hours everyday looking at these boards since I discovered it.

I have only been to WDW 3 times in my life and DL once. I'm an only child so I went on a lot more adult-oriented vacations when I was a young'n, and now of course it's hard due to the budget factor. If I was within a reasonable driving distance I would practically *live* at the parks.

Despite my low tally, I am absolutely obsessed with all things WDW. My boyfriend would tell you that I spent *months* planning our last trip in 2008. Yes, it was overplanned, and we didn't use most of what I wrote down, but it brings me joy and keeps me entertained to just read travel tips and write itineraries! (The trip went off without a hitch...he thanked me for my planning in the end!)

As my screenname implies, the World makes me weepy. Literally.
Seeing Cinderella's Castle for the first time in a trip = misty-eyed.
Finding Nemo the Musical = tears for the touching cuteness and the awesome visuals.
One Man's Dream = inspired tears.
Wishes = full-out makeup-ruining, kleenex-needing cry fest.
The list goes on. I just love the feeling that WDW gives me, it is my favorite place in the world to be! Yes I'm a big kid, and a huge nerd...many have told me this. But if I'm going to find kindred spirits, I figure it's here!

I love the planning too! It keeps me happily occupied until our next trip - My DH laughs at me too but he knows it makes me happy and he never complains that we have such a great time while we are there!

I am having serious withdrawals right now, so the board is my way of coping.

I actually stumbled upon the site because I have some severe wedding fever after attending DBF's brother's wedding about a month ago, and I started dreaming about a DFTW! I'm already planning it in my head, saving pictures of bouquets and rings and such that I'm finding online, but I don't think it will happen in real life...so expensive! Not to mention I don't even have an engagement ring; I'm obviously getting a little ahead of myself and the current situation.

As far as the next trip goes, I'm reading and getting ideas and planning stuff without writing anything down...I feel like that would make me sad without concrete plans.
I keep talking about WDW now, so maybe DBF will take pity on me and say we should go. It's unlikely...he's about to give up most aspects of his job to go to school full-time, and I'm currently unemployed while I take care of my grandma. Maybe we could plan one a couple years out so I have something to look forward to! I think he'd rather do a cruise though...maybe I can convince him a DCL/WDW vacation is a good plan!

Good luck! There are so many great reviews of the cruises on here. Maybe you can "accidentally" leave out some cruise photos where he would see them.

I've seen people talk about less expensive options for a Disney Wedding, so don't give up. You can have a wedding almost anywhere on property. I saw people getting married on the Boardwalk on the way to the Epcot entrance one year.

And one of the guidebooks I just read the couple writing it were married on the beach at the Poly....
