I noticed that this new restaurant will be opened in June for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Does anybody know what type of food they will be serving.

When I was on the phone to dining today I asked if they knew what the menu would be like and she read out the lunch and dinner menu. I cannot recall off hand what exactly was on it, but she did not say anything about characters (and it certainly didn't sound like a character place to me). She said 'world infused American dining'.

Hope that helps.

:)

I was wondering too. Will it be the same food as the Concourse??? I had heard it will take over for the Concourse and it will close down.

Was not the same food as Concourse (coz I liked that but not the new Wave menu)- there was only one steak on the menu and it certainly wasn't fillet. There was mention of seafood like clams and other things I don't like and I was just listening out to see if I could get at the Wave what I had last year at at Concourse- but no joy there.

There's another thread devoted to The Wave; it's somewhere on the second page. With the exception of the beer and wine selections, I'm disappointed by the menu: the same tired NY strip steak, etc.

Thanks for posting the menu. I was anxious to see it, but sorta disappointed. Seems like the typical WDW menu now - very few choices and all about the same at each restaurant.

Once they post the prices, I'll decide whether or not to try it ;) I really loved Concourse. Dare I say they had a better steak than LeCellier? =)

wow - thanks for posting the new Wave menu - different selection of items compared to the Concourse Steakhouse - unfortunately there's not a whole lot DH would eat here, so we're going to have to pass...

(too bad - the desserts sound pretty good)

Well since The Wave has not opened yet there is always a chance the menu might be updated, so they could always add more items.

So just go there for dessert! We have done that upstairs just to see the fireworks. :cheer2:

We arrive on June 7. I wish the Wave could wait to open until maybe June 15. Then I could get one more breakfast at the Concourse Steakhouse.

The breakfast & lunch menus sound interesting. I'm just not sure they'd be worth going to CR for, if you aren't staying there. Going for dessert & wine is the most appealing option to me. We may have to do that. :thumbsup2 I don't think the dinner menu sounds good at all. Surely, there will be more items than what has been released.
