I received my WATP DVD today from Netflix. I wondered what all the hype was about....come on, seriously, you CAN'T get a good workout walking in your living room.

Ok, fast forward to about 16 minutes later when I'm sweating and breathing heavy and my heart rate was DEFINITELY aerobic!!

COOL DVD! :) My kids at first thought I looked like a freak, but then they were joining in!

I love how she says "if you don't know the steps or miss some, just keep moving." SO refreshing....because I'm what you'd call Coordination Challenged. Richard Simmons videos turn me into a pretzel!!

Anyway, I know this is something I'll want to end up buying....but WHICH ONE? I know she has a lot out there. It has to be on DVD, if that makes a difference. This one is "Deluxe Walk." I like it, but I know she has some that focus on Abs....admittedly a problem area of mine.

So tell me your favorites, and why! :) Would REALLY love if you'd include links to the specific ones on Amazon b/c they all have such similar names!

THANKS WISHERS!

I'm a HUGE WATP fan and have recruited my DH to do it with me. I have the 1-, 2- and 3-mile set that I got at Costco with the weights, but they only had videos, I didn't see DVDs, at least at the Costco up here.

I love my Mari Winsor Pilates too. I haven't done them for a while and did them yesterday and today and boy am I feeling it!!! :)

Enjoy!!

I have the DVD that includes the 1, 2 and 3 mile walks. I'm still doing the two mile and it wears me out.

My sister, the buff cop, did the two mile with me when I was visiting Texas and it kicked her butt. She ran out and got one for her and her SWAT team husband. It's got to be a good workout if those two want to do it :teeth:

I bought mine on eBay and it was a STEAL ($16 including s/h!!)! I bought the 3 vhs set of WALK AWAY THE POUNDS FOR ABS. There's a 1, 2, and 3 mile. It also came w/a belt that velcros around the waist. There are 2 stretchy, bungy-cord kinda things w/handles attached to the back of the belt. You put the belt on snugly (that's what keeps your abs tight) and then you use the bungy cords for the arm work...they give alot of resistance. I've been doing the 2 mile for about 2 weeks and it still kicks my butt.

I just got the 3 pack dvd with the 1, 2 and 3 mile at Target for 19.99. Pretty good deal! I just started the one mile tonight and it was fun! I'm used to higher intensity w/Tae Bo, but I've read so much recently about all the benefits of walking that I wanted to buy this, too. My dh and I are also walking at night together, but we live in WA state and the good weather we've been having won't last forever (oh how I wish it would :( ) So this will be great for those icky days when I cannot get outside! :)

Try Target or Wal-Mart - both should have them (but I would call first to make sure as I took the last one on the shelf at Target and Wal-Mart often runs out of those kind of things fast.)

HTH,

Christiana

P.S. Mine didn't come w/the weighted balls, but we already have free weights that are 2 lbs so I use those.

Love WATP!!!

I bought the 4-mile Super Challenge. I figured that way, if I got tired after one or two, I could stop, but if I felt really energetic, I could keep going. It's so much fun, I find myself doing all four miles even when I start out saying,, "I'm tired, I'll just do one mile today..."

Got mine at Amazon.com, $16.99, no great bargain but I'll be using it for a loooong time!
