Waterslide on the Wonder?

With the refurbishment coming up next fall, what do you think the chances are of the Wonder getting a big waterslide like the other ships have? I see a fair price on the Wonder for next year's spring break, but my son is a water-slide addict. He loved the Magic's AquaDunk!

Maybe, maybe not. It's my understanding that in order to install the AquaDunk on the Magic the duck tail was necessary (not the entire reason for the duck tail, but part of it). If that's true, I doubt that DCL will add the duck tail to the Wonder until they are sure the Panama Canal locks are going to be up and running when they need them. The duck tail will make the ship too long for the current locks.

I agree with this. I saw a documentary on the duck tail installation and it showed that the new tail allowed the ship to have the water slide. The Panama Canal is a hot mess right now, so it would be risky doing major changes and then either not being able to get the Wonder to Alaska for the season in the locks if they are delayed...or having to go all the way around South America.There is a little slide on the Wonder...but its smaller.
