I was wondering if anyone knows of any inexpensive watches for kids/teens that we could use at Disney. I was hoping to find some they could use not only at the parks but the pool and waterparks where they may not be carrying their phones.

Avoid Rumba and Timex watches. They say they're waterproof, but they're not. Both Rumba (silicone bracelet type with a little lcd face) and the kids Timex watches I got for my kids fogged up after only minutes in a pool, then quit working.

Thanks for the tip. I was thinking about something like the Rumba. I like that it is small and I thought waterproof. Scratch that off the list. My older son loves to ride the water rides and I wanted to let my teenagers branch off on their own for awhile and meet up at a certain time. I guess they can put their cell phones in ziplocs but a watch would be nice too. We also have a waterpark in our city that we visit very frequently during the summer. One of my biggest complaints is that there are only 2 clocks in the entire park! I feel like I spend FOREVER searching down my son and his friends when it is time to go and there isn't any way he can take his phone around with him.

I wouldn't trust a ziplock to protect a cell phone. You need something like this.

There are a lot more bags like this. Some have armbands and such. They are known as dry bags.

Totally off the subject...but when I first read the title of your post, I thought it said, "Waterproof "MATCHES" for kids"...and I thought why would someone want to get their kids matches, then I read it again. :rotfl::rotfl2:

Maybe you had to be there...

But those waterproof bags are the "bees knees" and you can get ones you can talk through also.
