Waterproof pouches

Any suggestions for these? Something to keep our money/ID/KTTW dry on excursions (not as worried about CC, but on Grand cayman, cozumel, ect) .

Do you take your phone off the ship? our only previous trip was on 4 night dream and we put our phones in our safe and didn't touch them (we didn't use the ap, but plan to do this time on the ipad to look at dinner menus and activities ect).

In reality - the KTTW card, ID (driver's license), and cash can all get wet.

My husband just uses the pocket in his swim trunks, and I stash mine in a more time-honored place of concealment for us ladies

I don't take my phone off the ship. I have a waterproof camera for excursions that basically remains attached to my wrist by a strap.

Yes, these are indispensable for my one daughter and me. We got the clear kind with the string you wear around your neck. I take a lot of pictures and do not bring my good DSLR off the ship. We got them at Five Below if you can believe it! They held our phones and also our key to the world card , ID, and some cash. We were glad the phones did not demagnetize the key to the world card anymore because they use the RFID chip I believe instead. Very useful! And my daughter took underwater photos with hers. Mine was more to protect my phone from sand and water on our Port days. I think you can get these online for quite cheap. You can take photos with your phone right through it, and it doesn't affect the sensitivity of the touch screen which was very useful.

I got mine on amazon. I use my phone for the app and taking photos so I like having it with me. They're fairly inexpensive.

Highly recommend any pouch by Aquapac. Have used then extensively for my iphone, passports, credit cards, cash, other forms of ID. Have swam with all of those things in an Aquapac for two weeks in Hawaii, snorkeling in cruise ports, etc. Not one leak ever.

AS far as taking my phone off the ship....always! I look at my phone as a life line, incase of an emergency I can contact anyone,my banking info is right there at my figure tips, I know we all try to "disconnect" while on vacation but now a days having my phone with me is like having my watch and wallet with me...I just do not go anywhere without all 3.

It's not waterproof, but I have this bag for when I go to the beach. (Or anywhere I might want to walk away from my belongings). It locks shut and you can lock it to a stationary object. Not totally fool proof, but at least someone would need to draw a bit of attention to get to your belongings. I have the smaller size, and it's enough for both my wallet and phone, as well as my DH's things, plus a few nick-nacks.

I have some waterproof pouches with neck straps that I got at REI, Walmart, and a kayak tour/rental shop. Walmart has a surprisingly good selection of these things at the camping/hunting section.
