The Unofficial Guide mentions that at the Water Parks a small waterproof container is sold for $5, that just fits your ticket, keys, and some money. I've looked for similar items in Target, but haven't found any. Any suggestions about who sells such an item? I'm early preparing for my September trip! Thanks.

Yes, the first one is along the right lines. A small waterproof container that can be worn in the waterparks while getting wet, and hold the ticket and car keys. I have a couple of containers, but neither will fit modern car keys. I igured if Disney is selling one for $5, a better one is probably available elsewhere, just like the situation with ponchos.

We bought one from Busch Gardens Europe-Water Country USA for about $5 and it was awesome. We were able to put our debit cards, cash and our digital camera in it and wear it around our necks like you do with the lanyards. Secures real tight, too, and kept us from having to go back and forth to a locker.

We thought about bringing this one but we'll probably pick up a Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon one as a keepsake. Definitely worth the five bucks if that's the cost.

They sell them at the resorts and at the water parks. I bought one from the water park last year and use it all the time. At the lake with the Jetski, at the swimming pool with the kids, etc.

Sporting good stores often have them in the swimming section!

I saw a couple different kinds (one round, one rectangular that would fit credit cards, etc) at Dicks Sporting Goods the other day. They were with teh kayaking stuff.

Here's a thought - I read in a WDW travel guide that those waterproof containers (which hang around your neck) can be dangerous on water slides - the string that goes around your neck can get caught on the slide as you're going down. I never thought of that - I just worried that it might come off if I go underwater!

I'd rather rent a small locker for my valuables. I have a zipping pocket in my swim shorts for the locker key.

The $1 section at Target is selling the cylindrical shaped ones in red & blue. They won't hold a KTTW card but they will hold larger keys & cash.

I bought the flat one at BB to hold my KTTW card & license & it kept everything dry. They sell it in 2 sizes, so you can get a bigger one to fit keys. I thought it was reasonably priced because you can use again & again.
