Is it too cold to go to the waterparks in December? I've never been that late in the year, so any advice would be greatly appreciated! Jo

typhoon Lagoon was the only water park open in Dec 2006. We went and enjoyed it although it was cold when you got out of the pool. It was a sunny day temp about 24 C but the wind was northerly so chilly. I don't know that I would plan on going to a water park but if the weather is nice enough for shorts than you should go for it!

We always hit hte waterparks in Dec it used to be Blizzard Beach that was open and Typhoon Lagoon was closed but now it is the opposite we don't like TL as much but we still go I mean we can't go to Disney and not hit the waterparks. All teh water is heated just like the pools so it is just fine.

We spent Dec. 24/2006 at TL. It was alot of fun and not too crowded. I thought it was a little cold but my DH and 3 kids thought it was warm enough. The water was heated and it was warm enough for the snakes as I scared a small black one that was sunning on the walkway.

My kids did the surfing lessons at TL in December at 7 am:santa:

Little chilly but the water was heated so no problem.
