I want to go to AK for dinner right from our day at the waterpark without using up time on transportation back to POR, then getting on 2 forms of transportation over to AK.
DH is uber-modest (IMO) and won't agree unless the changing areas at the waterparks have enclosed stalls for individual changing-- in other words NOT the big open area with benches where everyone changes and can see each other, like you find in some spas/gyms.

So please confirm-- Enclosed/private changing stalls available at waterparks?

The changing rooms have enclosed stall with curtains.

THANK YOU! :thumbsup2

So DH can be quiet and just go with it and stop throwing roadblocks in my meticulous planning :headache:

I did google for pix but I guess the inside of waterpark changing rooms is not high on the list of vacation photos to take :rolleyes1

Our trip to BB in 2011 it was open change area not enclosed so this may have changed but we didn't do BB in 12/13 so not sure.

Actually, this would be classified the same as a bathroom and it is illegal to take pictures there, with the exception of special circumstances, such as having a permit to film there, etc.

When we went there were open areas, but there were also individual stalls available as well. Additionally, he could always use the ADA stall in one of the restrooms to change.

That's interesting because there's a website out there that shows pictures of every bathroom in WDW, although I'm positive the person made sure the bathroom was empty before taking the pictures.

I haven't been to BB since 2004, but they had them then and I can't imagine they'd get rid of them.

They may have gotten special permission or simply violated the law and have not been called out on it since the restroom was empty.

I was at Typhoon Lagoon two weeks ago and they still had individual changing stalls with curtains.

Can you provide a link to that law please?

There are tons of sites out there with photos of Disney restrooms. Some with titles like "Happiest Potties on Earth" LOL they even have rating systems :rotfl2:

There are a few change rooms with curtains, but there may be long lines to use them. The large room with benches is certainly the more efficient way to get in and out if the change rooms quickly, especially at the beginning and end of the day. Tell your husband that his vanity may slow you down, then let him make his own decision. ;-)

Are you sure about this? There can be legal consequences if you take a picture of a person in the bathroom because even a public bathroom is not really considered a public space - there is a reasonable expectation of privacy. I've never heard of a law that forbids taking pictures of empty bathrooms.

Even if they didn't have individual changing rooms, I am sure they have private potty stalls. He could always change in there. I totally can relate, though.I will not disrobe in public either. I am still haunted by my horrible experiences in gym class! And I've been out of school for over 40 years!

I know the ladies has individual stalls with curtains as my DS 3 loves to swing it wide open at the most embarrassing of moments!!

The toilet stall was the first thing I suggested to him, as I've done that many times. He said he once dropped something into the toilet doing that so.... "no thanks". I'm small tho and he's over 6' so I guess changing in a tiny stall with a toilet is easier for me. So I'm glad to hear that they have enclosed changing stalls in WDW waterparks! Yay! we can get right over to our 5:30 ADR at Sanaa in time to see some animals!
::yes::
