We used the 10 day ticket last year and understood that it expired 20 days after first use. However we assumed that everyday you used the ticket at a park or waterpark one of the 10 days was used up. I recently booked my future trip 10 day ticket from Virgin and the lady said the 10 days only counted if I visited theme parks I had unlimited use of the waterparks. Is this correct I hope so but sadly think it probably isn,t. Thanks in advance Donna:Pinkbounc

I am sure your suspicions are correct, Donna. we had the 10 day ticket in 2001 and you could go to the waterpark when you wanted but it was counted as one days use. we watched the weather forcast and if it looked like a hot day we would go to the waterparks and then go on to a disney park for the rest of the day. you only get 10 days use and they do expire after 20 days from first use. They are still great value for money though. we are going in two weeks time and have the 10 day tickets for this trip. this time I am sure we can count Disneyquest as unlimited admissions as long as we go on a "Disney use" day, whereas last time you only had one entrance included. as we have a 17 year old DS who cant wait to go back in Disneyquest this turned out very well!:bounce:

We have 10 day tickets too, and a visit to a water park will use up one day of the 10 days - never been to any of the water parks before though!!!! Because the kids are still young, and we are in a villa - but we might have a go at Typhoon Lagoon this trip!!!

I think I know why there is confusion on this. If you buy a 5 or 7 day Hopper, then the 5 and 7 days DO refer to the four main parks. You are then entitled to two VISITS at a water park (or Pleasure Island I beleive), so effectively, the 5 day is a 7 day and the 7 day a 9 day if you do the water parks on different days to the main parks......do you get my drift! I looked into this in depth and had a very long chat to a helpful CM at the Disney Store about this! We read all the small print and this is what we found to be correct.

For example, if you visited MK in the morning and Typhoon lagoon in the afternoon then that would be TWO days used. You can visit ALL the main parks on the same day and only use one day of the hopper, but a visit to a water park uses up one of your add ons. It would make sense to use the water park option on a different day to make optimum use of the hopper.

None of this applies to the 10 day offer, where you have unlimited access for 10 days. If you had a day off-site and then went to Pleasure Island at 10pm then that would use a day of your ticket, so plan carefully to get the most out of it!

Brilliant thanks for clearing that up. If Virgin had been correct I don't know how I would have fitted everything in as I have a 10 day pass and a 4 park flex ticket. Yoo Hoo I can't wait going July 18th for 21 days
Thanks again Donna:smooth:

Actually with a 7 day park hopper plus pass you get 4 visits to waterparks/ P.I. so that makes 11 days altogether!! Even better!!
