Are water shoes allowed to be worn on the slide rides at Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon?

Most rides, yes. For some (like summit plummet), you can wear them while waiting on line, and then hold them in your hands while going down the slide.

So, for all rides, you can wear them while waiting on line.

How old are you asking for? The reason I ask is we found that water shoes at the park were really just a pain. Lots of sand and not nearly as easy to rinse off or slip on/off as flip flops. I had my 1 and 2 year old wear them, just because they're too little to really wear flip flops, but the rest of our crew wore regular flip flops (DS 13-15 wore nothing, but that's not for me lol). Most rides/slides had you take them off and hold any shoewear.

Thanks for the replies. I am ok with holding them on the rides. I think I have found a good pair of water Crocs that will go on and off easily. My feet are very tender and blister way too easily.
