Waterpark Rain Check

We took advantage of the Arrival Day Waterpark perk last summer. Unfortunately, there was a storm that shut the park down shortly after we arrived. I needed to report a lost item so I stopped at guest services on the way out. While waiting in line, I heard other guests talking about rain checks. When I spoke with the cast member about the lost item I asked about a rain check, I clearly explained about it being arrival day yada yada yada, but they said yes because we were in the park less than X hours. I think I even questioned them again. So I really don’t know if we truly have a rain checks, but we’ll be going next month and wonder if I should be able to see this in MDE anywhere if we do? Let me stress, I would truly just consider this Pixie Dust if we do, just trying to see if I can be sure before we trek over one day, only to find out we don’t. TIA!

I would call and ask, once in a while there are things on an account ticketing can see that you can’t.

But I wouldn’t get my hopes up, weather waivers issued last year for that perk just extended the validity period a couple days. Not sure how they worked post entry though.

For those paying for a waterpark day, yes, there is a possibility to get a rain check if attractions close for a storm within X amount of time. How long that rain check is valid for, I’m not sure.

Since you did not pay anything to enter the park, I would be very surprised if there are rain checks on your account. I’m pretty confident the information the CM gave you was incorrect. I know others asked last year if they could use their free day on a different day when their arrival day was stormy and the attractions closed for a period of time and the answer was consistently reported to be no.

You can call but I would anticipate the response being ‘no, there are no rain checks on your account’ as financially you did not pay anything for this one day perk Disney sometimes offers.
