Can anyone tell me which waterpark they would go to if they are a non-swimmer. I don't swim at all but my hubby 2 be does so which one would be better?? By the way we are going in July

Thanx

Either. Honestly. The centerpiece of both parks is a wave pool, the pool at TL is bigger. After that, there's not much swimming required. Do you simply not like being in water, or do you not swim? TL has a better "lazy river," a three foot deep, slowly moving channel with inner tubes. I love going to TL the day after a late night at PI, throwing a hat over my head, and just floating in circles all day.

On the other hand, if you have no intention of hitting water, then your hTb may like BB better due to better slides, or he may like TL better due to a more relaxing environment. Interesting to note BB is more "teen oriented" with the thrill slides. As a redhead who burns at midnight in February, I love the tropical coverage in TL.

Either way, not being a "swimmer" is hardly a pitfall.

I agree w/ Pat_Elliott, either water park would be find for you. It probably is'nt the question which park would be an non-swimmer, but whatr park would be better for some one who does not want to go on water slides.

This may not be the case for you. But, if it is I would go to Typhoon Lagoon where you can jump in the lazy river or just lounge around. You will probably enjoy either water park.

Enjoy

I do not swim either but I love BB. So does the rest of my family, DH and DS's ages 23,22, and 12. I do the lazy river, the family raft ride and I even do the mat races. Then I relax in the sun while they do the crazy slides. It is really a cool water park with tons of things to do.

Thanx for the replies
Pat~ I just don't swim so TL sounds better to me
I am also a born redhead so burning is a problem for me too :)
I think I am going to have to bring a high spf sunscreen.
Thanx

Well, as a fellow pasty-white redhead, I have a different opinion for you. BB was dangerous to me: lot's of concrete, much fewer trees, etc.

DW, however, is a sun bunny. We found many, many places where she could sit in the blazing sun, and I could sit right next to her in full shade. TL is done in "island" motiff. The available shade, without taking away people's right to bake in the summer sun, is never more prevelent. And man, for a redhead who's baking in the shade, there's no refuge like that offered by "Castaway Creek." 75% in the shade, cool water, it just doesn't get any better.

Knowing you're a member of the "ouch, that 40 degree sun hurts" fraternity, I now STRONGLY suggest TL. I had no fun at BB, and it was soley due to lack of refuse from rays. TL is the redhead's Garden of Eden.

Pat-

Thank you for all your ideas! :) My hubby 2 be doesn't understand what its like being a redhead and how much fun the sun is....I am going to feel like a little kid putting sunscreen all over but its far better then getting blisters on my skin and going to the hospital. So TL sounds good.
