When you add the waterpark and more option to your MYW ticket, does that give you unlimited access to the Waterparks and the eligible downtown Disney Attractions? :confused3

Thanks,

The number of "options" you get is based on the number of park day purchased. On our last trip, we purchased six day non-expiry and that entitled us to four "options" - this equals two shorter trips for us. Three days at parks and one day at a water park followed by DisneyQuest at night.

It works on a "plus" system. Each time you go to a waterpark, disney quest, Pleasure Island, etc. you use up one "plus." The amount of plusses is based on how many days your ticket is. 1-3 days is 3 plusses, 4-6 is five plusses, and 7-10 is 6 plusses.

I know I am going to sound really out of the loop here, but please forgive because this is our first trip ever!
So, we purchased 5 day hopper, waterpark & more passes. This would allow us entry 5 times to any of these places. So if for some reason we go to Blizzard Beach in the morning, then downtown disney in the evening, that uses 2 of our pluses in one day. Also, if you wanted to, could you just use all your pluses on one waterpark. Like going to BB for 5 days.
Finally, if you leave BB to go get something to eat, do you have to use another plus to reenter later in the day. Again, I'm sorry for all the questions :guilty:

Thanks,

OK - your park hoppers give you five days that you can go to the four main parks (MK,AK,MGM, Epcot) you may go to one or all of the parks on that day. No matter how many in a day, they count as one "day"

The Water Parks and More are different - each time you use one it counts (there is no "hopping") There are plenty of CS options at BB so you will likely eat lunch there but if you were to leave and go back (put thought into this considering time to shower, change, etc) it only counts as one because it is the same park on the same day.

When you are saying DTD you do know that you don't use a plus to get into DTD, right? Please don't take that as an insult if you do  , but you said it is your first trip. You only use a plus at DTD for DisneyQuest or as a "pay one cover for all" of the pleasure island clubs.
Does that help? Did I miss anything?

Yes.

Leaving, and then returning to the same place (such as Blizzard Beach) on the same day does not consume another plus.

Note: Entering a plus location does not at that moment consume a theme park day and the consumption is the same with or without hopping on the ticket.

Thanks to all! My teenager is really psyched about the waterparks. He is still under the impression that Disney is for kids and the waterparks are his only outlet, so the waterpark & more option is a must. And to the poster who informed me about DTD, I did not know that you could get in "free" so to speak, so thanks! I need to pick up one of those two books before I head down there. I had heard that the new edition was coming out in August, so I was trying to wait. LOL
