After seeing the construction pictures of the pool area at Disneyland Hotel I am confused and have heard different things, the koi pond with all the waterfalls area I can't see it in the picture is it gone?
Please don't tell me they got rid of it that was the best part and the koi pond has been there since I was a little girl I have fond memories of feeding the fish with my mom (may she RIP).
Is the neverland pool staying or going being as that it is still there and open but they seem to be building something else there too. What is all this supposed to look like after it is all done?

Can someone who has been there tell me for sure?
Can someone point me in the direction of a webpage or something that shows what this is supposed to look like when completed?

Thank you in advance!

Sadly the neverland pool is being re-themed to monorails. I'll looks for the design for the rendering for when it's done and post it when I find it unless someone beats me to it.

The Koi pond and waterfalls I am unsure of though. I think they may be gone as well though.

Yes, both the koi pond and the waterfalls are gone.

The Koi were relocated (I forget where).

There's supposed to be some homage to the waterfalls in the rebuild, but exactly what, other than the one falling from the waterslide, is yet to be seen.

The Koi were donated to the Huntington Library.

I really hope they didn't get rid of them.
When I was a little girl I have very fond memories of me and my mom feeding the koi fish. My mother is now no longer with us.
Ten years ago my husband and I had a Disney themed wedding and spent our honeymoon at Disneyland and stayed in the Disneyland Hotel (in the honeymoon suite they upgraded us for nothing!), and for the first time since being a little girl my husband and I fed the koi fish on our honeymoon, now we are celebrating our 10th anniversary and would love to go to the waterfalls and feed the joi fish again. I know something like waterfalls and feeding koi fish sound stupid but if you've ever lost a parent you cling like hell to the fond memories you have with that parent and want to relive the fond memories with those you still love and have around you now.

Unfortunately, the waterfalls have been gone since sometime last summer. They were there for our trip in May, but gone when we went back in November. I miss them too, they were my favorite part of the hotel.

I really hope they didn't get rid of them.

Same here. We were married there 15 years ago (also upgraded to honeymoon suite). I was really looking forward to taking our kids there. It's not the end of the world though. We're still going to make the best of it.
